Hi, I have just bought Soft99 Fusso Coat F7. Can I just wash the car with ph neutral shampoo and then apply this F7? Or I need to Wash, Wax and apply F7?

Wash with ph neutral, clay and polish, then apply fusso

Sorry I should have mentioned it earlier. It's a new car just collected 2 weeks ago. Do I need to clay & polish?

new car might have contaminants (could had been exposed to sun or rain when it was on the way from factory to you).
if you don't do it, the wax might not bond fully to the car surface.
it's up to you really, if you have the time and energy, do it. If not, probably you can skip and do it later when it's time to wax again  smile.gif

Ok.. Any recommendation on the polishing product (I'm newbie). For clay bar, I will get one from soft99. Thanks

i'd recommend soft99 metaclean or osren polish. I started with those two  biggrin.gif
try sliding your hand across your car paint surface, see if its smooth. If it is, you probably can skip clay/polish and do it 6 months later.. see how rajin you are later in washing your own car (in case you dont wana invest so much in the beginning).

Ok. I'll get the Meta Clean. I have Luster but just noticed that this cannot be used on Metallic Silver.
Thank you for the recommendation

of all the brands that i have tried, i recommend Magic 101's Wash & Wax, decent soap that won't break your wallet and easily purchasable too as they are widely available almost anywhere. this is only if you are not "particular".
*
I do have a bottle of Magic 101 Platinum Wash & Wax. I have already applied Fusso Coat F7 and currently, I am using PG pH Neutral shampoo (going to finish soon) to wash the car every week. Is it recommended to use the Magic 101 to wash the coated car? I've read thru the sticker and it did not states anything about pH neutral. Worry, it will strip the Fusso F7 Coat away. Thanks

Perhaps tire shine or interior protectant for dashboard and leather seats if you have?
*
Which dashboard protectant would you recommend. Thinking of applying that too. As for leather seat (I think it's synthetic leather), I bought soft99 luxury leather

I used meguiars new car scent and ultimate protectant (they got afew types).

Will get the New Car Scent Protectant. Thanks for the recommendation

QUOTE
Cannot confirm exactly if the Wash & Wax is indeed pH neutral or not but from my experience so far, it appears to be because it does not seem to prematurely strip away the waxes that I applied on my cars. Car shampoo with "waxes" in it are usually pH neutral because waxes don't do well in solutions that are on either sides of the pH scale.

As far as the F7 coat is concern, you are actually required to reapply / top up every 3 to 4 months anyway so i wouldn't worried very much about that.

Noted on the Magic 101.
As for Fusso F7, every 3-4 months, should I just wash with pH neutral shampoo and re-apply Fusso F7 on top of existing coat? OR I have to clay, polish and apply

Hi, any good product to recommend for coating the plastic part (exterior: near tyre, wiper area, side mirror area and interior: dashboard, door, etc). I found this in shopee that can last up to 6 months. Not sure good or not

Hmm.. hard to say, as i reapply quick frequently when i do my wash.. if u mean the outer plastic, i heard cerakote is the best. But its pricier tho..
*
OK, Noted. I think I'll go for Ultimate Protectant (cream type). From Meguair tutorial, I can reapply every 3-4 months.

Hi, I am going to reapply Fusso coat but before doing that, i have to prep the car to remove the old coat. Can I just decontaminate the car with Soft99 Iron Terminator without claying and polishing? Previously, i did claying and hand polishing with soft99 meta clean but the fusso F7 cannot last long (only about 1-2 months). After reading from some post, It is better to decon with iron terminator or something. BTW, is Soft99 Iron Terminator safe for car paint? Would appreciate if anyone could suggest the best step to prep the car for Fusso Coat 12 (Going to change to this) so that it can last longer. Thanks

I bought the same iron remover to apply on my paint (not sure if it can be used that way, will test on inconspicuous part of car first). Do come back and update after a few months to see how well the Fusso Coat holds up.

Looking forward to hear from you soon. Currently, I am applying Speed & Barrier. Thinking of applying Fusso Coat 12 before CNY

Sorry I thought you are well verse with Osren. Its a local company, normally I would just go to the warehouse/store and get it.

some update:
so after adding degreaser into my steps before applying fusso coat, the beading still looks ok after almost 3 months.

9/12/2023 - coated
28/2/2024 - today, only washed car 1 time (before cny)

I guess its a small success compared to my previous attempt which lasted 1 month only

im gonna buy ironx when there is a good deal to see if it further improves the effect
*
You mean you only wash your car once from 9/12 to 28/2/24? I wash every week and I am still thinking whether it is necessary or not to wash weekly.

I just did mine 2 weeks ago since the last one couldn't last long
My steps:
1. Normal Wash
2. Clay & Rinse
3. IronX & Rinse
4. Meguiar Compound (Use 5 pads - All extremely dirty)
5. Meguiar Polish
6. IPA Wipe
7. Fusso Coat 12 months
8. Waited 24 hours, then apply Speed & Barrier

Result: great beading and the black water stain that normally appears near the front doors can be easily wipe off

9. Wash Weekly with Ph neutral shampoo - Not sure whether washing weekly will reduce the life of the fusso coat.
Can I just use flush with water and wipe dry instead of using shampoo?

Hi, I'm considering applying IGL Ecocoat EZ Graphene ceramic coating to my car. Is this a good product? Does it last beyond the 12 months (IGL claimed it can last up to 12m)?

Also, are there any other ceramic coatings you would recommend that offer longer durability?
