Hi sifus, just bought a new car (two weeks now actually) and would like to try out washing/detailing myself.
Any recommendation on products? I saw osren's products and youtube, tempted to try. What about purewax? Purewax says their one spray can wash&wax..
Also, is rinseless wash good? Living in a condo with no carwash bay..

Don't expect these shampoo to bead like crazy or long durability. Better add on with say spray sio2 then rinse off (eg. Meguair's HCW) or cheaper is those water wax.

Eyeing for this too. Waitin for them to restock wash + coat combo on shopee. Is this sufficient enough for a beginner? M

Keep your finger nails tidy... or can't be avoided I guess  laugh.gif do plastic coating should be able to hide it further. Last resort, PPF perhaps.

i have read that soft 99 fusso coat 12 months + kiwami make it more shine. How long do you need to wait after applying fusso before applying kiwami?
Can't decide whether i wanna jump into paste wax or spray wax icon_question.gif

Also, any recommendation on what product for hand polish? since i should polish before waxing right..
plan to try polish + wax my new car (1st time).. icon_rolleyes.gif

paste wax if ur staying place have car porch for longer lasting, else spray wax for ease of use especially staying at condo when applying at common area like car wash
*
Thanks! Yes im staying at condo but there's no car wash area. Had to resort to rinseless/garry dean method.

What about side window/windscreen glass?
Rain-x or glaco?

smooth on touch. i think it's an early onset of water spot, before the spots become permanently baked into the clear coat. here's what it looks like before. this dusty look is all over the car from the front to the back.

user posted image

i can get rid of it with enough scrubbing with microfiber cloth and some hand sanitizer, or use the famous norwex cloth and their cleaning paste. but that would probably will introduce some micro scratches?

anyway, i did clayed the whole car. now the dusty water spots are gone. looks way better than before.

I have similar pattern too for my white car. Need to wash car more often before it becomes harder to remove. Planning to get Osren's Tough for this.

Help! Plan to go on car detail project for my new white pearl car and old red (gf's car). Can't decide whether wanna go for soft99 metaclean + kiwami + fusso coat speed & barrier or osren luminous polish + coat? Gonna do by hand btw.

I think the soft99 metaclean can be used for both white pearl and solid red? But the kiwami i will need to get a white and dark one, right?
Or should i go for soft99 luxury gloss?

Planning to also get glaco for windscreen + side mirror (shopee got combo at kakimotor).

What else i'm missing? Clay bar from osren/pg/soft99?

Kiwami would be good but I guess the tendency to get one each for white/light coloured cars and red is making you think twice.

Either that or get a Fusso Coat paste wax instead. Their paste wax range is undeniably good but the effort needed to buff them off is really ... sweat.gif Another option would be to consider Fusso F7, which is liquid form but it hardens to be similar to their paste wax once it cures.

Glaco please use only for windscreen and side windows. For side mirrors, get the Mirror Coat Zero. You certainly don't want your side mirrors to be impaired during downfall. biggrin.gif

Have fun shopping bro!

So far i bought both glacos, soft99 meta clean and luxury spray wax instead of kiwami (since have to buy 2 diff kiwami for 2 diff car). Plan to get soft99 clay next. I think have to repaint the faded color part since there is cracks too.
Sorry idk how to rotate the pics here.

Is there a difference between e.g. fusso paste/liquid/spray?
Or its just a matter of how you want to apply it..

I'd use both the paste and spray to complete it
*
So for example, i have gotten the soft99 luxury spray, i should pair it with for example fusso f7 liquid or fusso 12months?
paste/liquid for monthly, spray for weekly, right?
