I went to workshop and applied Ceramic Nano coating, 4 layers. Waiting to see how it goes.

Damn frustrated no roof-shaded area for me to properly work on, these few days evening either heavy shower rain or misty rain...
Finished hand application compound the car after 2 days, just now plan to give a wash and do ceramic coating, but start misty rain again...
woodentiger86 I remember you have Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax right? Can this be use as the after wash drying aid method? Does it need few hours to cure? I anticipate the weather will consistently having evening rain for next few days, so not possible to do ceramic coating as that requires at least 1 day to fully cure.
Also now I see there's Hybrid Ceramic "Liquid" Wax, which is better for longevity?

Bump. Really thinking of getting this but seems like they don't ship to international addresses?

Any other alternatives? Really do not like the hassle of using traditional clay

Just removed all my stickers on the windscreen. Thank goodness for long nails and heavy rain earlier which made the surface cool and easier to remove.



Tomorrow likely wash then IPA the whole area to remove leftover sticker residue... :

CarPro's Polyshave cloth has similar surface to that video.

I saw someone selling clay cloth at shopee, under ADM

ADM products are ok. Bought their drying towel also to use alongside the Osren one I have.

Superb drying aid. I've stopped using other drying towels since starting the Osren and ADM ones.

For clay cloth or towel you may check Osren too.

Yes it can but make sure the panel is wet and don't spray too much, otherwise you keep fighting with streaking. Hybrid ceramic liquid wax the yellow one is more durable than the blue one hybrid ceramic wax. The blue one no need curing, after applied if raining, the water instantly activated the hybrid ceramic wax. My almost three months as photo taken today downfall. Some beads started to become weaker.

Anyone using osren's buffing towel?
Is it supposed to be more grippy when buffing? I worried that i would cause marring since its harder/grippier to buff using it..

Just found from Shopee there's no more stock for blue Hybrid Ceramic Wax, only the green version Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax. But youtube there comparison video seems blue version is better

Yes, used HCW before. From my experience, no curing time needed. 2 ways to apply - either the wet method or the dry which is the way majority of us tends to do with our products.



Video above was taken when I finished the product so I sprayed it liberally on my engine and sprayed with garden hose.

Shocking reliability!

Finally got some time to do some proper TLC. Removed all the decals except for the boot lip.

Coated all glass areas except side mirrors with Glaco Roll On

Recoated the tyres with Black Black

Applied Armorall Shield Wax on bonnet and sealed the whole car with Ultimate Fast Finish

And lastly Soft 99 Cloth Barrier on all the seats...

Hmm that does seem pretty bad in terms of durability... It still has some sheeting but the beading is more or less gone.

Wah.. big water tank for carwash? Jk jk..

Btw, any recommendation for tar remover?

Hmm not too sure Bro. I don't use tar remover. Haha. Bug spray got if not mistaken to remove those dead bugs on bumper a long time ago
