nah only mods/admins etc can do topic pinning/unpinning.
so no need do anything (just letting you know that you might have seen a report in your topic)

and no worries, it's been replaced with a bike wink.gif

beading is like ceramic coating!

but
1. it will kill any sprayer head unless you flush with water after each use.
2. application is abit "grabby". i dilute 1:1 with distilled water to reduce the grabbiness. doesnt effect the fantastic beading
3. Price. last time was RM60 a bottle... now with new distributor its RM160?
*
Imho BSD beading is so so, however its charm lies in not just beading, but water sheeting and repellency as well. Anything left over will just bead a little.

I don't dilute BSD personally since I typically use it during drying after wash, which means the left over water will dilute it already tongue.gif
Not to mention serving as a topper, and speed up drying even more.

Yes new Singaporean asshole taking over Malaysian distributorship from Sonax is just pure dick move.

May I ask if you also face the issue of BSD killing the sprayer head?

Also, found out Sonax BSD 750ml is RM150 and 5l is RM450. It's indeed quite expensive (for me at least) but maybe we can share a 5l purchase tongue.gif
*
In fact yes, but it was a very old BSD bottle probably since 2013 to 2014 estimated.

The new ones so far ok, and if you're using it a lot after washes, chances are the sprayer will last all the way until finish.

So in summary, I wouldn't be bothered about the spray gun issue.

I am Keen!

But maybe not so soon and not so huge quantity.
Maybe if there's others to share as well?

I see many reviews raving Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer. Hype or true?
*
Yes especially it being cheap and good.

New distributor clearly forgotten that cheap part doh.gif

Notice that the beads aren't uniform

BSD will shine more when your car gets speed and it auto dries itself tongue.gif

In your opinion which one last longer? BSD or Meguiar spray wax?
*
Easily BSD even though one is supposed to also function as a detailer while one is just spray sealant/wax

ok in my detailing experiences, Honda paint/clear coat were typically bad/clear coat dangerously thin for most newbie detailers to work on.

but this, a friggin 6k USD upgrade package on the paint... is really an eye opener.

Never try Osren range, good to know they are good for its price.
But found this at they comments section. Product is not on par with sns.

For me, spray wax, selant, si02 or next graphene should more than enough since im maintain my car by wash it every week, quick detail it with carpro Elixir, and re-coat we reload once a month.
Ease of use is always my priority.

i think it's been said and i'll repeat again: years ago one would have never ever thought to benchmark anything against turtle... my god they have gone a long way that one, if not some of their products are being a market benchmark thumbup.gif

I heard them (OSREN) long time ago, but they never popular to consumers since they made products for professional only. While turtlewax is focusing on consumer base.
*
That's why now they trying to improve their marketing over platforms like Lazada/Shopee to get general consumers to be more aware laugh.gif

they've been around for around or even over 10 years as far as i know.

the Sonax BSD almost 2 years ago. Still half like half bottle too since I keep it in my car's boot.

I think I've finished one bottle lol

Since I've used it for drying aid time to time

Wow. Technically the Sonax BSD was one of the very first spray products I bought when I started rekindling my detailing hobby 2 years ago. Kinda like the scent too.

Not sure why I tend to use it sparingly compared to the HCW/S&S/Osren's HCS as well.

Maybe the price of RM150 makes it so sayang to use it like mad. brows.gif
*
Well, my Sonax BSD was bought at the previous distributor clearance pricing of 60-90 IINM. Definitely under 100 lol.

But now headache what else to use after my existing BSD stock finishes sweat.gif

1:1 is good enough. Whatever is left from polishing oils is fairly thin, doesnt require a greater concentration of IPA to remove.
*
I actually do 1:10 maybe cuz I got 99% purity IPA

more IPA seems to leave very bad streaks or residues

So... my car always kena bird shit... and the bird shit isn't the white color type, but its the yellow/brownish type. Often if left for maybe 2-3 hours also will etch into the LSP dry.gif. Haih, what would be the best method to remove the stain? Normally what I noticed after several washes it goes off eventually.
*
I always keep small bottle of Meguiar UQD and+ ready tissue paper , always remove before they etch in LSP
