Haha, not really confident in my ability to coat car without any blemishes.

My own ride has many swirls but not so visible la unless up close.

Mazd'a Soul Red is another level though.

Super eye popping colour... Don't dare to detail it yet asides from giving it normal wash.  sweat.gif

Trust yourself, go ahead do. The best way to protect is brand new car, easier to maintenance some more.

Thanks for the kind words bro.

Was driving behind my wife's ride this morning and can notice some swirls on the rear bumper...

Amboi.

Car is like a week old only and can see some patches of swirls which I couldn't see when I was giving it a quick wash and dry last weekend.

Probably caused before we collected the car from the showroom...  hmm.gif
*
I learnt that it is quite impossible to get swirl free. I already gave up swirl free finish. As long as I get mirror like finish with not very visible swirl, then I'm ok with it. Example of my weekend car, 3 years old.

alright. the poison is real. spent RM100+ just on cloths and mitt. LOL. anything for my beloved amirite lol!

anyway, can i throw it into washing machine after using? cloths and mitt together.
*
Can, front loading machine is preferable. Do not wash microfiber towel above 40⁰C. Wash only microfiber type and don't mix with other cloth type. I only learnt this after many years of detailing.

I do have to commend Meg's HCW also - that product was like a game changer man when it came out. Used to be so skeptical about wet application[COLOR=red]...  hmm.gif

aiyo, every times read this thread, so many nice photo to see, make me itchy to show mine. 1 layer cleaner wax + 2 layer MHCW (wet application), did it on 11/3/20

Better test on small area first to avoid ruin the paint later. If good then continue on.

Very impressive beads nevertheless! How has the coating held up till now? Got top up from time to time?
*
All my car bead like crazy one, haha. I didn't check the durability because i don't want to start over and over again. FYI, meguiare ultimate wax last me 6 weeks in monsoon season. They claim HCW is more durable, so i assumed maybe in 8 weeks or something. if i did ultimate wax with HCW combo, the effect will be more crazier. up until now, i got top up 2 timed of HCW as below photo in dry.

Fuyoh, super impressive gloss levels.

Managed to get rid of the orange peel? I am planning to work towards orange peel removal on my ride + wife's ride later on once time permits. I have already purchased Leveler 56 and a denim pad from Osren a couple of weeks ago to try.

The Meg's Ultimate Wax that you're mentioning - is it the paste/liquid/spray form?
*
My car don't have orange peel, eh, what do you meant?

I used 3 of them. Paste and liquid no difference but if you have big pad, I suggest you used liquid form. After 1 years plus of usage, now I prefer liquid form. Spray wax is not for wax the whole car if no wax exist on the panel. It just act of topper for maintenance, prolong the durability of wax that we already applied before.

Looks like those horse hair brush... not too soft I guess.
If ultimate wax last so long for you, guess the HCW even longer!

I used the spray ultimate wax before, 1 week max.
*
Bro, I just posted before, spray wax is for maintenance only not to substitute actual wax.

So it still boils down to having a base layer being applied thoroughly and topping up/maintaining it with the spray waxeshmm.gif
Oh, how to explain orange peel. Most new cars or resprayed cars have this layer of paint that when seen under sun light/fluorescent lights, it doesn't reflect perfectly like a mirror. From the pic below, the bottom part is what most car paints have - like my own Myvi and wife's Mazda... Once up close you can actually see the 'orange peel' on the surface.

Nice nice, might give my liquid waxes another go. Usually due to time constraints and [lazy] I tend to just maintain my ride with spray waxes every weekend or so... laugh.gif
*
in bold, yes it is.

You meant your black myvi? Strange, I thought is based on colour. Can't comment on myvi.

For Mazda soul red crystal, that is not orange peel. It meant to be like that when reflected with different light source of angle. That's why Mazda signature colour is so beautiful. For comparison, my machine gray and deep crystal blue don't have this orange peel.

So Meguairs hybrid ceramix wax still cannot replace liquid/paste wax..my question is, how is the frequency between use liquid wax/paste wax and this spray wax?. how to alternate them?.
*
MHCW can replaced the liquid and paste wax. These 2 serve different purpose bro. If you want the paint pop or stand out especially dark colour car, you have to use liquid or paste wax. HCW is designed to have coating like effect with ease application. Since HCW is more durable than liquid or paste wax, it is best to use as top layer or sacrifice layer. The best part of their product is you can "rojak" between their waxes, find which one is suit your taste. This is also main reason i stayed with their product. Go experience yourself, you find out kinda fun.

i also used spray wax to maintain a HCW layer, quite nice as well.

Sometimes their products overlapping each other, so it is confusing some times.

Yea man. Maybe the next time I am clearing leaves I could whip out the DA again for some paint correction on my ride.

It's kinda bad on my car, as per the red area in the pic below - doesn't reflect smoothly like mirror sweat.gif

Sorry to kepo, what's TMO ah?  hmm.gif
Yea, Meg's actually have several items that overlaps or are probably new formulations that are designed to slowly replace any outgoing products. Like Paint Protect which used to work as a sealant but seems to have been discontinued and replaced with the aerosol type Fast Finish... Haha.
*
Yalor, definitely need to start over again. you see, mine reflected like mirror on machine gray below:

Review for Meguair Hybrid Ceramic Wax. Score: 10 out of 10.

Very very fantastic dude. I really please with the result. Its like a mirror reflection.

btw, Front door is paste wax, while rear is Ceramix wax..That paste wax price is rm36 while meguair is at rm79. Not really fair differences rights in term of price. Lol. But good to know, the price differences is justify..

So, really satisfied with this meguairs Wax. It do really works. Dunno u all can see the differences in the picture or not, but in front of naked eyes, its do got a lot of differences.

Im not sure I will still use my cheap paste wax or not after this. lol.

Edit: Like always pic become up side down. sorry for that.
