I still cant decide between M2300 and ATP3... Just want to hear what the Edifier fans have it mind..

Which is the best choice for Classical Music? Or should I just slightly increase my budget and get the M3300 instead?

For classical music you have to get M3300. I just upgraded from M3300 to Aego M. The M3300 clarity so good for its price that upgrading from it to Aego only bring marginal difference. Of course there are many other aspect that makes it not as good as Aego. If you're bass head then you can consider Altec.

I'm not sure if music sound differently between different models. The stock driver for the Megabass is lousy. It has the issue where occasionally music will become 'softer' like the Creative SVM (Smart Volume Management). However, i'm using a modified W880 Blaster modified acoustic driver for my W610i. My personal opinion that the SQ and bass are very much improved compared to the stock driver that i listen to.

I have no idea why people mock me up claiming i don't know what i'm talking about when music and sound quality are all based on personal preference and opinion  doh.gif . After all, i even stated i'm using a modified acoustic driver. As such i don't even bother to feed the troll.

Back on topic, I'm eager to audition S530D myself. Really undecided if i should buy S530D or wait for S2.1MK2  hmm.gif

Wow the price is definitely very high and exceeded my budget. Was wondering if the price will be lowered much later.

Seems that I've offended you. Sorry bout that. It's just that last time when I tried my brother's phone it was pretty bad actually when using the stock earphones though. Btw, what kind of modification you did anyways? Change drivers?? rclxub.gif

For classicals imo you are better of with the e3100. Quite old model but still quite good smile.gif

Nah, better hang on M3300... the clarity is sure better than Atp3... yawn.gif
Tell you something, for classical music you dont need powerful bass..
Like AegoM the bass sure not powerful but it is a deep bass subwoofer suit for music.. compare Atp3 with M3300, 1st in high volume Atp3 will disort.. 2nd, Atp3 mid is downfiring to the table, what the heck? 3rd, M3300 got wired volume controller and 6.5 inch subwoofer.. rclxms.gif

I have to tell you to audition those speaker then only you will know the difference... nod.gif

Quite no of them come with RCA input (what i means here is that u can plug in the RCA to the speaker) => e3100, m3400, m3310, DA5000, S530D and the list goes on..

Bought a S2.1m recently. Was disappointed with the performance initially. However, after burning in for few days with Edifier tool and did some tweaking to the equalizer, it sounds superb rclxms.gif
Btw, i am only using on board sound chip which is made by realtek. I believe with better sound card, this speakers will sound better.

Bose speaker? I saw it before nearby piramid nearby 7 eleven there...
Haven't audition before, but the speaker looks small... smaller than aego icon_rolleyes.gif

for box speaker, the smaller the more expensive, for example the Jewellery Cube series speaker, very small but sound great !
