my first impression for this speaker is: "wow, so big. wooden, not very attractive" but when i saw the price and listen to it. this thing is really more than meet with eyes. the sound are so nice, like wat the sifu said, everything is solid.

for me the base is abit too much, haha. for music, i would onli turn the base to 0 or even -2. But more is better than none. juz tune what you like. i grabbed it on last sat once i saw before viewing any review from here or even magazine.

so happy that it's so highly rated. do you guys did any comparison with the MX5021, is it comparable? i think this thing is really worth for every cents.

Why are there drip marks on the surface? If it's done on purpose, I'd have preferred a smooth finish.
Btw, what's the retail price for this?

Just to update everyone. My warrantied speaker have lesser noise/distortion now compared to my first newly bought C3. However, when playing musical instrument especially piano musical score the 'paper sound' is still there on high notes when the volume is moderately high. Overall i'm very much satisfied with my C3. My experience in listening to music, playing games and watching movie is definitely MUCH MUCH better compared to my previous AL4121 smile.gif. Only cons may be the satts not able to handle higher volume and hence causing noticeable 'paper' sound effect on certain tone or frequency.

i'm having the c3 also, would you mind to send me the source of you which u claim will produce paper sound? i might wan to test also. and see whether is the source or wat. or we should test with other type of speaker to see it's the limitation of c3? icon_idea.gif
