hey...out of topic for awhile. do anyone know about 'bose' speaker? i saw it at pavilion MAC shop, it selling for 1.9k for the 2.1 speaker. this is crazy. is it really worth that?

anyone heard bout tat and have the review for it?

yup M3300 very worth it. Clarity almost as good as speaker that cost 3 times its price.

haiz... how many ppl know Edifier is a good value product...
Most of them like speaker got light, stylish...

But are they using the speaker for audio or looking at it all day??

Its because Edifier lose on marketing. For normal PC users Altec Lansing = best in PC audio. But they never research that Altec got some crappy speaker also. When they hear Edifier, straight no interest liao ....
So Edifier need to promote their brand name now that they have solid products.

edifier has done a good job in designing their speakers which not only look good but sound good as well.

those are the people who blindly purchase by brand name.

like philips.. their speaker is hopeless..

altec's ATP3 like so lousy edi..

ATP3 is legendary
but i prefer edifier e3100 over that 1

altec is getting worse...

I'm not sure if music sound differently between different models. The stock driver for the Megabass is lousy. It has the issue where occasionally music will become 'softer' like the Creative SVM (Smart Volume Management). However, i'm using a modified W880 Blaster modified acoustic driver for my W610i. My personal opinion that the SQ and bass are very much improved compared to the stock driver that i listen to.

I have no idea why people mock me up claiming i don't know what i'm talking about when music and sound quality are all based on personal preference and opinion . After all, i even stated i'm using a modified acoustic driver. As such i don't even bother to feed the troll.

Back on topic, I'm eager to audition S530D myself. Really undecided if i should buy S530D or wait for S2.1MK2

Logitech selling Z2300 at Rm 599 is rubbish...
I normal buy at All it only cost me Rm 555...

S530D is a really good speaker... bass quite tight with clear sound and can be turn to max or Boost 6...
Waiting for the new S2.1MKII..

is the S530D good for movie? since it has a tight base... i think it wil be better for music rather then movie... looking at the price of S530D, the S2.1MKII will definitely be price above 1K when it's out... btw, the subwoofer of the MKII looks damm huge and ugly to me...

some of altec speaker not as good as last time.like atp3,the current batch really not as good as first batch.

Yeah my first aim was to get S530D myself too. Been waiting quite long for it. Now i'm waiting for MK2. Have to audition both before making a purchase . Maybe the release of MK2 will lower the price of S530D too.. if not much by little will do . Any idea when MK2 will be out?

I chat with Edifier before, He said this S530D was tuned by phil jones and doing research on it almost two years before launch... No wonder it sounds better than logitech..

haha,i got the feeling that Edifier is doing marketing the same way with grado,a little advertisement,but more on mouth-to-mouth marketing.i cant deny it,so far...all my customers walk away a happy fella

Ya, I agree that S530D is very good. While Aego M more suited for music, S530D is good for everything. That bass more powerfull than Aego

BOSE is very good speaker from USA,
product for home theater system, multimedia system, and even car audio system

the range from 2.0 (rm4xx) to 2.1 (rm18xx)
and home theater system 5.1 (rm7xxx to rm17xxx),
and more other...

worth to go to test..and buy
