My 15-mth FD with StandChart matures today, did a free IFT to MBB saver-i, later going to do ePlacement to GIA-i using M2U.
I intend to uplift these placement at the end of everymonth to purchase units in fixed-price ASN funds, but if unsuccessful will put it back to GIA-i on 2nd day of next month.
This would maximise my interest instead of leaving the money in those high-interest Savings Account? Correct me if I am wrong, for this is a rushed decision to put in GIA-i.

Sweet! didn't realize SCB so generous.
So IBFT is free for both OTC and Online banking?
What about Interbank Giro transfer, also free for both OTC and online ?

IBFT & IBG is free thru online banking. OTC IBG chargable at 53sen. Mine is Supersalary Acc, but I think all CASA entitles for this free transfer.

My SCB BSA also free instant transfer. My SCB matures today too and just did instant transfer for one, while have to go to counter to uplift for another cert. Once today is completed, will just left one more cert with SCB and then goodbye for good.

Yes, have been pulling out from SCB for last few months. Have to cancel their PB to avoid the RM100 monthly fees !

They have no new FD promo unlike last year, one of the best, if not the best, at that time 4.5%. biggrin.gif

Personally, I will not return to SCB even if they give 5.0% Am already at points of no return. My branch is full of deceit and even their CS from HQ dare to deceive Bank Negara. Luckily I now have their admittance of wrongdoing in black and white. I will clear out all FD and close my CASA before taking action.

The 50k limit is a per day limit. So for 300k, you'll need to do it over 6 days.
