QUOTE(bbgoat @ Apr 11 2016, 08:42 AM) All up to the banks. They would take their time to assess the situation & to adj their board rates. I see, I do have maybank efd that is step up. Existing placement will not be affected (only if goes down, then step-up rate may be affected depending on banks). We lose out ! I see that the latest figures for loan applied, loan approved, loan disbursed from bnm decreased significantly,it is hard to think that opr will increase.. |

Now starting to doubt the Maybank eFD campaign. It is step-up FD. Only the final few months it will be 4-5%. What if OPR go down then? TnC says promo is subject to OPR revision, so then it may not be the promised effective rate after all?
