Glad to hear you're enjoying the B6.

The uni-fi line has been out for quite some time already actually. Unfortunately it's not widely available here yet, need special order I think.

I have not tried ELAC with any subwoofer yet...but I intend to. I would like to narrow down my choice to either SVS or ELAC Subwoofer.

do you guys have any input on this two subwoofer. I look in youtube that the ELAC S10EQ has that electronic calibration that looks so easy to set up with all your speakers. would that be an absolute advantage compare to other subwoofer??

thanks guys...much appreciated.

yes Ben, sounds is enough to satisfy any person who are into hi fi for a first time...like me.

One small note, change the speaker to small in the amp speaker setting. the sound will be much more fuller, tighter and punchier.

that's all thank you

Guys I need your inputs.

Recently my friend gave me his speakers... he said he found it on storage area and took it home.

Now to cut the story short.. the speakers are from a Pioneer Home theatre 5.1 package. Only the 2 tall speakers are with me and I tried to rewire it to a 3.5mm plugged into my headset at my phone. It is working however the output sound volume is low even maxed out from the source.

Can I use this with other home theatre?
Any other suggestions on how can I make use of it?

Model: Pioneer S-DV2T
4ohms, max 100w

It won't work as especially the old model is proprietary

Input on which two subwoofer exactly? SVS sells many subs.

The room EQ on the ELAC S10EQ is handy if you do not have a receiver capable of doing auto room-EQ. However, since you do have a modern receiver it doesn't matter unless you're running a strict 2.1 setup with an integrated amp.

Sir may I know what you mean with old and proprietary?

If I have a similar 5.1 pioneer home theatre htz121, can I swap out the speakers with these?

Hi all sifus,

May I know any negative effect if I pair a 6 ohm passive subwoofer to an AVR? This is for temporary use only until I can buy an active subwoofer.

Thank u. Is it easy to get this plat Amp? How complicated this method to wiring between plat Amp and subwoofer? How much does it cost? If it too complicated and costly, I have no choice to just leave it alone.
