After rebooting my router from a 210.x IP which was giving me slow loading times with Facebook, I have managed to reboot to a 175.x IP and suddenly my Facebook is now loading instantly.

YEAH! in the morning, things were normal.

on the other hand, tried just now, packet loss 20% on CSGO. but atleast facebook is accessible. DAMN TM PLS.

Happens with Streamyx too.... Singapore VPN speeds are ok in morning but it slowed down in the noon. Not enough bandwidth?

Why is Streamyx affected? Isn't this Unifi problem only?

Every TM customer are affected i think.

suddenly facebook not loading at all lol

Facebook manage to load but veeeeeeeeeeeeeeery slow. Twitch now buffering every 15-20 secs.


Tried 175.xx, 115.xx, 118.xx, 210.xx, 60.xx, 124.xx. Reset Router. The results all the same. VPN also no use.
It's gonna be a very long 1 month to endure this siput connection.

Have to rely on Mobile WiFi. Sien.

why is unifi so slow?

I'm in Kuantan, reach 30mbps on speedtest but when streaming, it keep buffering and lone user.

They servicing anything that cause this?

edit : also, when playing games in sea server also spiky. goes from 20 - 200 like every 3 min.
edit 2 : nevermind, just found out about the cable maintenance thing.

FB & utube no problem, spotify slightly buffering, twitch randomly ok/buffering badly. IP 175.x Sunway area.

So did u guys managed to get the advertised download speed with unifi now? Cause i am only getting 1mb instead of 30mb. Hypptv also not smooth.

How come only Facebook website so slow and other US sites are ok or why my torrenting and youtube still ok.

The workaround is reboot router until u get an IP address (external IP) starting with 175.xxx

Not only me, but many ppl who tried this have reported that this workaround works. So I doubt it has to do with any physical damage to the cable... more like some network settings of some sort based on different IP segments.

Is it possible to file a report to TM or any other authorities? I don't expect any refund but at least they will waive for next month bill.. Internet is goddamn slow since last week

i am one 210.x ip, i don have problem surfing website, fb, only thing is gaming, it will lag like hell.

restarted many times, just can't get the 175.x ip

For torrents, it depends on your seeder and seeders can come from various locations so there might be local seeders who are from Malaysia seeding the file that you want to download.

As for YouTube and any other Google services, they have CDN servers at many locations so it should not be a big problem as long as the local CDN server has the video you want to watch cached.

Facebook also has CDN servers through Akamai but if I'm not wrong there's no server which is near Malaysia and thus will still be affected when the international link has issues.

yesterday restart around 10 times then only managed to get 115.xx.xx.xx IP address
today also around 10 times then only get 175.xx.xx.xx

yep same as me.....in the morning free lag and no packet loss
but after that GGWP...cant play at all
