I used YES 4G now and solved my Internet problem temporarily. Very smooth browsing websites and as fast as Unifi 5mps. RM50 for 2.5 GB per month.

Switch to Maxis mobile hotspot, no problem at all, different type of connection? hmm.gif

use livestreamer, it plays stream on vlc. im lagging as fuck on twitch, but can stream source quality using livestreamer

Been using VIP20 since 2012. If i upgrade to 50mbps package will they give me a new modem and STB ?

Nope. I also upgrade frm 20 to 50.
They say they will only give you new stuff when you terminate your current one and reapply for 50 as a new customer. But no gurantees how long they will take for them to come ur house to reinstall so you may have to have a few weeks without internet.

So I just upgrade and buy myself a TPlink modem.

yup true...cannot confirm how long they will do the reinstallation. but for the best advice go for upgrade and buy a new an AC router rclxms.gif

or you can apply a new line, once the installation is done then terminate the old one, then you won't have any downtime (just that you may need to pay an additional month if your timing is wrong)

batter keep VIP20 almost stable then 30mbps AND 50mbps

that's a bummer. That's sucks a lot if need to do like that.

Well i do using Archer C7 router. Just kinda hope can get at least a latest STB coz mine is the first model.

Now even give you 1Gbps, it won't make much a difference.
