any advice on this guys?

how old is your kid? can understand reasoning?

worse comes to worst, just safety plug all the power so if on and off at least no issue. let them play till they get bored of it.

Yeah, he can. A year and a half now, problem is i'm scared to leave him crying as he got abit of a hernia prob.

So i think cos of that he's abit too pampered. Any advice on how to teach 'em without crying?

hmm. as long as he doesnt FULL BLOWN crying i think should be ok. kesian the little guy got that issue.

a year and a half i think still cannot really understand 'why?' type of things. so a bit hard for reasoning with him. my son for some things i will just try explain that if he does do it and something happen we will be very sad. seems that emotion is something they sorta can grasp.

my wife just tells him 'if you do that again, mama will be sad and wont talk to you' then he also stop and will be a bit sad, but wont cry. but all kids different so hard to say. the issue with boys is that they are so stubborn. the other way is just to distract, but easier said than done. haha.

dont smack his hand .. that what asian like to do .. they just eager want to touch something part of learning.

talk to them ... for me i print a logo like below and stick on the plug ... so i told my son if you see this dont touch .. so far so good .. no harm trying this for few plugs

so get a toys without the sign and show him that he can play and then bring him to the plug with the logo and wave your hand and said no.. do it for a week daily and they will understand

hi hi, am a husband/father to a 10m son biggrin.gif
24yo this year tho, a bit challenging as im out of my friends' current phase where they're still out there, enjoying life, lepaking, not having that much of commitments.
but i have to say not once i regretted having a kid. he's my bundle of joy, you know when you had a rough day at work, you'd just wanna see your kid is waiting for you at home.

hahah. sounds so cute. but stress at same time. is it a normal occurance. i mean like all the time? strangers kids too or just family?

once in daycare normally the teacher will be more experienced as they deal with tons of kids. sure they can help manage it. if you have a place in mind, maybe can ask them for some tips of how they handle kids. also good info to find out how they handle bullying.

Hi all,
It has been a while since I am posting here. My son is already 8 months old, how time flies.
Have anyone of you heard of Grolier home learning books for kids?

I have encountered this booth and talks during my weekend shopping.

I pretty much like the concept of the books and the talking pen (if I pronounce it correctly). The pictures are quite attractive and I hope my boy can start his reading habit from here.

The only downside is the package is expensive as it cost RM2k+ for full set of 84 books. However, it can last till 7/8 years old.

So anyone have reviews here? Thanks
