Yes , you can select input languages via the setting menus .

Again , I really don't recommend people browsing sites on their TVs , most smart TV ( even the most expensive one from Sony like A9 series ) has very limited RAM .
Youtube app is just fine .

I m very sure C9 will drop to the same level as C8 some day . . The real question is , how long do you have to wait ? Nobody can give you a definitive answer .

Sorry bro. It was a 65 inch C8 on Harvey Norman Paradigm Mall. It was below RM10k but no mention of being display unit so I assumed it was new.

I'm also on the lookout to purchase an LG C9; undecided on the 55 or 65 atm though based on the pricing

If the 77in OLEDs drop in price like the 55 and 65in late this year and early next year, it would make them competitive to the alternative 75in/85in LED backlitLED/Quantum Dot LED. At the moment they are priced almost 50% more than the LED variances.

A lot of inaccuracy in these articles , especially with the big claims where they are facing a lot of competition from Chinese OLED manufacturer , which is extremely insulting to begin with .

You can count the brands who can actually produce large OLED screen on 1 hand .
In China , there is only 1 notable OLED screen manufacturer , which is BOE . However they are only accounted for less than 5-10% of the total OLED big screens on market , and their OLED screens can't actually get very bright either , maxed out at around 300 nits . Not to mention a dozen of color accuracy and pixel efficiency issues . Hisense were purchasing OLED screens from them , look at how their lineup are forced to retreat from key markets cause of poor sales .

With LGD being pretty much , still the only major big OLED screen supplier in the field .

DSCC has already set a forecast where they foresee LCD TV market drying up by 2023 , with Micro-LED hitting a major roadblock and nowhere ready for consumer sizes , it is safe to say as long as LGD still hold the pattern rights for wRGB OLEDs , they will remain the key player in the industry. Samsung's Quantum OLEDs are still in pre-production and we have yet to see a prototype so it will take a long while before it is ready to launch .

tomorrow will be Oct...still no update regarding OLED B9...will wait for it to compare with C9, plan to get 1 of them within this year. Hopefully C9 will have a big discount before end of this year smile.gif

Why B9 ?

Since last year the " B " series have been getting downgrades quietly , although some of the downgrades were fairly subtle .

I have noticed the brightness levels have gone down , CPU downgraded , the remaining features have also been somewhat restricted , eg : the quad step noise reduction and gradient smoothing.

LG is well aware their B series has been competing with the C series and has been deliberately delaying the launch of the B series towards the end of the year .

In 2019 , the B9 is quite a bit inferior than the flagship C,E,W series , especially with the removal of autocal supports and reduced color accuracy from 3D L.U.T with less reference points.
As shown in the latest rting review , B9 does not go through the more elaborated factory calibration as it is highly inaccurate Out of the box . ( but that is one unit , my source of information does not come from rtings )
