I actually requested BNM to look into these for these three reasons:
(i) No satisfactory answer from UOB regarding this delay
(ii) UOB doesn't follow its TnC
(iii) UOB doesn't have a fixed date to credit cash back to its UOB VOX customers which is not fair to us

That is what the agent told me. Approved, activate, sent her sms n she will deliver the bag to me personally....

feel bad for you. Anyway for me I'm not so looking forward to the bag. If get, then get lo. Else I will just cancel the PRIV card. I dont need it anyway. I just wanted the VOX card.

just called cs. then they claim utilities is not eligible for cashback 5%

then i ask then how come even 0.3% of rebate for retail purchases is not there?

then they silent.. and say will follow up back with me in 4 working days

It's a good card la actually, for my usage better than CIMB CR but the cash back date really sucks.

By the way, the CS Manager just called me and had a lengthy conversation with me. They have officially received the complaint from BNM today and he has spoken to the Product Manager regarding this.

I told him I cannot accept a big bank like UOB has this kind of unreliable system and he said it is due to the ad-hoc promos they had earlier which I suspected is the 20% cash back thingy. Long story short, cash back for January will be credited by tomorrow and if I still can't see it posted on Thursday, I will straight call to this guy. I have his name already.

It is their system problem and asked us to be patient and I said, be patient for another few more years? I told him though I'm new to this card, only hold it since last August but I know this card is already in the market for few years. Are you telling me this problem wasn't happening previously? Only started after I hold it? Am I that unlucky? Oh well, or probably they haven't met a nasty customer like me before. laugh.gif

So guys, just wait till tomorrow.

Yes, rightfully should receive end of Feb and until now we still haven't got it.
So long you use for any transaction with no minimum limit, then you won't be charged with monthly RM 6. In order to get cash back, you will need to spend RM 50 and above per online transaction.

until now not yet shown on my uob card...due tomorrow..

how many days normally the payment will reflect in the system?

apparently my intention was to complain regarding the january cash back not credited yet. then the CS brought it up that tnb not eligible for cashback..

which means need to pump petrol above 50 only can get cash back?
or max cash rebate is rm 50
no minimum limit? spend or swipe how many time then wont charge monthly rm 6?
