QUOTE(fruitie @ Mar 8 2016, 06:28 PM) It's a good card la actually, for my usage better than CIMB CR but the cash back date really sucks. Haha.. Pro fruitie! Double THUMB UPS!! I like this statement "..asked us to be patient and I said, be patient for another few more years?..."I thought you got your cash back for TNB? What's the problem? I really don't want them to notice this part... By the way, the CS Manager just called me and had a lengthy conversation with me. They have officially received the complaint from BNM today and he has spoken to the Product Manager regarding this. I told him I cannot accept a big bank like UOB has this kind of unreliable system and he said it is due to the ad-hoc promos they had earlier which I suspected is the 20% cash back thingy. Long story short, cash back for January will be credited by tomorrow and if I still can't see it posted on Thursday, I will straight call to this guy. I have his name already. It is their system problem and asked us to be patient and I said, be patient for another few more years? I told him though I'm new to this card, only hold it since last August but I know this card is already in the market for few years. Are you telling me this problem wasn't happening previously? Only started after I hold it? Am I that unlucky? Oh well, or probably they haven't met a nasty customer like me before. So guys, just wait till tomorrow. |

QUOTE(Ralna @ Mar 16 2016, 11:38 PM) I'll just share my experience here. For UOB VOX,if the single transaction >RM1000 converted to 6 months installment IS a online transaction, do we still earn the 5% cashback? My first 2 cards were UOB Lady's Card and UOB One Card which I applied for at Tesco Puchong. Then, UOB called me few times to offer other cards to try out for free, so I got another 2 cards- UOB Preferred Platinum and UOB Vox. As I am their "Preferred Customer", the annual fee for Preferred Platinum are waived for 2 years. After using these cards for 6 months-1 year, I found that: UOB Lady's Card is good for frequent grocery shopping. UOB One Card is good for general cashback. UOB Preferred Platinum is good for people who travel a lot. UOB Vox is good for online shopping. I'm thinking of cancelling UOB Preferred Platinum & UOB Lady's Card as the annual fee is RM200+ and RM70+ respectively. One Card is good enough for daily use (I use it to pump BHP petrol) while UOB Vox is my favourite card as I shop online frequently and its rebate of 0.3% is higher than One Card so I use it to swipe more often than ONE Card. The best thing about UOB Vox is the card holder can convert a single transaction >RM1000 to 6 months of installment with 1% upfront interest. That's better than other Easy Payment Plans. Regarding cashback, from my statements I notice that cashback is 2 months later after transaction month for UOB Vox and UOB Lady's. For UOB One, it's on monthly basis. So far, UOB staff and CS have been quite helpful and I could reach them easily, unlike some other banks... their lines are forever engaged and CS is always "still busy". Oh yes, as for paying utilities and insurance, Maybank Amex is better. Instead of getting rebates, you can earn vouchers with higher value. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ May 26 2016, 04:57 PM) Always read the T&C: Oh.. Thanks. No chance for like PB visa signature then.. Lolz5% cash rebate on all online spending with a minimum spend of RM50 in a single receipt/transaction. Note: For the cash rebate category of online spend, the maximum amount of cumulative cash rebate awarded for both principal and supplementary UOB VOX Card (combined) is capped at RM50 per calendar month (or such amount that UOBM may decide at its absolute discretion). The monthly cash rebates for online spend will be credited into the Cardmember’s account by the 30th day of the following month. b) 0.3% cash rebate on all other retail spend. Note: For the cash rebate category of retail spend, if the accumulated cash rebates awarded for both principal and supplementary UOB VOX Card (combined) for the calendar month is RM5 or more (or such amount that UOBM may decide at its absolute discretion), the cash rebate will be credited in the current month and reflected in the following month’s Statement of Account. If the accumulated cash rebates awarded for both principal and supplementary UOB VOX Card (combined) for the calendar month is less than RM5, such amount will be brought forward to the following month for accumulation. http://www1.uob.com.my/assets/pdf/tnc/Vox_tnceng.pdf |
