You called to waive?

Anyway, I don't have the UOB One which is pretty useless for me, cancelled my UOB One Plat long time ago.
Now happy with just UOB VOX. biggrin.gif

Well, good that they waived for you. smile.gif
You can apply Maybank Ikhwan MasterCard which has no AF, so you don't need to beg them to waive for you. biggrin.gif

Try to ask for it if possible.

No harm trying your luck, esp if you are diplomatic enough, you might get lucky.

Side note : UOB has one of the most useless bunch of CS.

Can't answer you properly and when you ask to speak to the floor manager, they will tai-chi and offer to call you back tomorrow.

But when the officer call tomorrow, most of the time, she will be blur and taichi for another day laugh.gif

Must always follow up closely when it comes to UOB, esp when it comes to waiver and etc. Got 1 occasion they agree to waive the late charges due to their mistake ( since I IBG but their system went cookoo that fortunate day ) but suddenly got finance charges.

Took me 1 week to get it reversed :/

Only reason to keep using UOB is for Vox and Lady's card laugh.gif

Yet to start using my Vox but I am sure I will be calling them for CB disputes very soon :/

I finally got the idea how to calculate the 0.3% cash rebate. Whatever "cash rebate" shown on your current statement is actually 0.3% cash rebate of all your transactions occurred in last statement.

Yeah, I know I'm slow because I was too lazy to calculate this as the amount is not substantial. blush.gif

Now finally had the time to do some calculation. So, in another word online transactions for VOX is actually 5.3%. Even if you have maximized the RM 50 cash back, you will still get additional 0.3% for all transactions. thumbup.gif

yep. I can confirmed this too.

2 weeks standard turnover + CNY last week, expect slow response for the time being, esp when the banks are hiring cheap staffs that knows nuts about the system.

After 2 weeks no reply, feel free to flip table.

Or you could personally call in. Sometimes, they need some letters from your side ( utilities/letter of some sort ) and etc.

My application was delayed few times because of this matter.

In UOB website, VOX 5% online CB states "...excludes insurance, government utilities & bill payments only".

In first page of this forum, Maxis, TNB, Unifi through uobonline, maxispay, TMPortal - still eligible for online 5% CB.

So, what kind of "bill payments" that are excluded from 5% CB?

Here is the full process. cool.gif
20 Jan -> submit VOX application via branch
03 Feb -> application return for reason IC not clear, branch's agent contact me and submit IC softcopy via email, branch's agent help to resubmit
13 Feb -> register my interest in VOX via UOB website
15 Feb -> UOB verification call (the resubmited application from 3rd Feb reach them, or maybe they start process after receive the same people apply via their website)
17 Feb morning -> UOB online application department called and I inform no longer need since verification call for previous application
17 Feb evening -> call UOB CS and CS informed that VOX card is approved and card sent out on 16 Feb.

now waiting my card biggrin.gif

btw, the monthly fee waiver need to swipe within calender month? I saw previous post saying if you didnt swipe before your statement date in calender month will get charged.
eg: statement date 16th, need to swipe within 1st - 16th.

If you pay via UOBPayOnline, most of it will go through and get cash rebate.
