Apply uob vox on 20 jan via branch agent, called uob around 27/28 jan and still not in system.
Called agent and she said already submitted, need to have around 2 weeks processing time.

3rd feb agent inform me that my application returned because of IC not clear and ask me to send her IC via email and she help me submit again and i have to wait another 2 weeks processing time again. Somemore CNY is around the timing. I wonder when I can have some verification call from uob for some proceess on my application.

Is it normal that uob new application processing time take so much time?

They took 7 weeks to process my application! Can't believe as I am holding other UOB cc as well. So it shouldn't be so long. I made 3 complaints in total as the application process was too long.
*
Is it your application in their system but pending their verification and aprroval?

Mine was not even in their system yet.

I applied via registered my interest online and one agent called me the next day. Excellent service who helped me to follow up thoroughly.
Got my card within 3 weeks I think.

Had similar experience as yours. Except, instead of calling the agent again, the CS told me to apply directly via UOB website and walla... I got a call from them and my application was processed within 3 working days (because I hold another UOB card too).
*
Seems like apply via online have better processing time.
All document are submitted via email during the process, right?

I will try it if there still no update by 18 feb.

If you have existing UOB card (less than 5 years old), you might not need to submit any documents as they have it in their system. The other side will just do verification via call.
*
Too bad i am new to uob.
Wonder if submiting doc can be softcopy via email or they require hardcopy then i need to send via snail mail

Yes, a real human agent will call you to confirm that you registered the interest online. Then after that will contact you via email for the necessary. biggrin.gif
Soft copy via email.

Thanks a lot. Will try that if my exisiting application not reach uob for my given time

No harm trying since it's pending for so long already.

just try to register my interest on the vox card, will it send any acknowledge email after you submit?
I leave the webpage idle for quite some time before submit and i didnt receive any email from uob like 'thank you for your interest...' , i wonder if the register interest logged into their system.

Here is the full process. cool.gif
20 Jan -> submit VOX application via branch
03 Feb -> application return for reason IC not clear, branch's agent contact me and submit IC softcopy via email, branch's agent help to resubmit
13 Feb -> register my interest in VOX via UOB website
15 Feb -> UOB verification call (the resubmited application from 3rd Feb reach them, or maybe they start process after receive the same people apply via their website)
17 Feb morning -> UOB online application department called and I inform no longer need since verification call for previous application
17 Feb evening -> call UOB CS and CS informed that VOX card is approved and card sent out on 16 Feb.

now waiting my card biggrin.gif

btw, the monthly fee waiver need to swipe within calender month? I saw previous post saying if you didnt swipe before your statement date in calender month will get charged.
eg: statement date 16th, need to swipe within 1st - 16th.

If you pay via UOBPayOnline, most of it will go through and get cash rebate.
No la, I think calendar day. No issue if it is charged, can call to waive.
*
It seems like no one report syabas via uobpayonline.
Wonder it also eligible?

Calling to waive is quite troublesome. sad.gif

may i know when is your posting date for
[05 FEB UOB Prepaid Reload Petaling Jaya RM5]

I wonder if the statement below is true:
if you didnt swipe before your statement date in calender month will get charged.
eg: statement date 16th, need to swipe within 1st - 16th.

QUOTE(victorywp @ Feb 23 2016, 06:18 PM)
so unfair for him 1st-5th?? lol... better call uob cs. biggrin.gif
*
I used to confirm this when i activating the card on 22 Feb.
first he response is by statement month
after double confirm he said is calendar month
so he tell me to swipe once before 29 Feb to avoid monthly fee charge on my statement on 13th Mar(statement day)
then the count seems like based on [previous month day 1 -> previous month last day]

but who know maybe their system was actually code it using below period (@alchmiya confirmed this, let see how is @asiatrader98 after he/she confirm with CS)
[current month day 1 -> current month statement day]

I believe CS will give wrong information if I call in without real example in my transaction.
Just to be safe, i will swipe rm1 petrol first week of a month tongue.gif

QUOTE(mamamia @ Feb 23 2016, 07:23 PM)
If not mistaken, UOB only show transaction date, no posting date
*
sweat.gif oh, i didnt know that as I haven't got the first statement yet

then you should be getting it by 29 Feb.

Cash rebates will be credited into your VOX card account by the 30th of the following month and excludes insurance, government utilities & bill payments only.
