I usually let it rest 1 week.
Most common recommendation is to let freshly roasted coffee beans rest 5 to 14 days.
*
For espresso i can start brew as early as 4 days..
But for filter atleast a week

QUOTE(imnotabot @ Aug 24 2021, 03:33 AM)
Thanks for the input. You mean you have to purge 6-8gm every day? Or when you change grind settings? I'm not that familiar with grinders as this will be my first grinder.
*
6-8gm every day or when i leave the grinder for 4 to 5 hour not in use

I see. I couldn't find a better alternative within my budget that is available without preorder, so I went ahead and bought a used unit, so let's see how it goes! I might end up buying the single dose hopper from Lesbrew Coffee to reduce retention.

Sulawesi Blend by Starbucks Reserve.

We have got the best seat in the house, bar seat is always the best. So we ordered, the Sulawesi blends that has tobacco and nut-toned chocolate taste to it. The barista that served us is Ms. Isabel Russel, we would like to give a shoutout to her for her friendliness & top professionalism as she gave a superb tour on this Sulawesi blend!
Taste wise -
It was the real deal, the aromas were spot on… bitterness with tobacco ✨, slight nutty-chocolaty which is ok 👍.

Hi sifus, I recently got into this espresso hobby after being  aeropress pleb a year and I copied sifu @zellleonhart setup (DF64 with SSP & Lelit MaraX)

I wanna ask how often do I need to chemical backflush my machine if i do 18g coffee beans pull per day, and any light roast coffee beans recommendation (I never had light roast before) ? Would be nice if knowing where can I get the beans too.

light roasts espresso, not worth trying, if you don't like sour acidic coffee

Hi Sifus,

Currently owning Flair Pro 2 and Gemilai CRM 3605 (recently bought). Am using timemore C2 now and looking for better grinder.

My budget is around rm1k ~1.5k.

In my list,
1. Df64
2. JX-Pro
3. Eureka Mignon Manuale
4. Eureka Mignon Silenzio

Am planning to open small business; 10~20 cups per day.

Thank you, Sifus.

Definitely not the JX-PRO / DF64.

I suggest to go for entry china 64mm commercial grinder that starts around 1k+.

Senang bila mau expand business in future.

Durable motor, and does not overheats easily unlike single dose grinder (esp df64)

Checkout Jcoffee selling S60, ad64 , s70 , all around 1k++ If Im not mistaken.

np. btw who selling rubino?

em30... con = no reservoir, need pipe in or external tank. rotary pump is used in high end machines...but is less forgiving than cheap vibe pumps... but it got preinfusion so it helps a lot with less perfect tamping
