how much is df64? is double the price rite?

DF64 is RM1.3k, while WPM is RM950 from bunamarket. The price is really close. If DF64 is available now I will take it no question, but the wait is just too long lol.

You can also get for RM899 from dankoff but its sold out. The one from FB group is most likely preorder.

just to add... for a few bucks above 1k... I'd get the feima yang chia 900n super jolly clone...it'll fit both mazzer and ssp burrs if wanna upgrade in future...

a lot of plastics used... not robust/lasting... cannot really grind the harder light roasts properly...

I don't have 1st hand on this wpm... but similar class like breville smart grinder that costs more suffer this problem... if I remember correctly the sunbeam is even worse

the small conical burrs are ok... in the old days, the trespade burrs are excellent for espresso but they are solidly mounted.

the wpm can grind for espresso but doesn't mean it's good... imho at close to 1k, I'd wait for the df64, if can't then the 900n

Sometime too fresh is not good..
Even some of my fav v60 beans usually i aged it to 3 weeks

I avoid the wpm zd17 mostly because the retention.. It is too much.. Have to purge 6-8gm before i start grinding for my espresso

I usually let it rest 1 week.
Most common recommendation is to let freshly roasted coffee beans rest 5 to 14 days.

Thanks for the input. You mean you have to purge 6-8gm every day? Or when you change grind settings? I'm not that familiar with grinders as this will be my first grinder.

Hi sifus, I recently got into this espresso hobby after being aeropress pleb a year and I copied sifu @zellleonhart setup (DF64 with SSP & Lelit MaraX)

I wanna ask how often do I need to chemical backflush my machine if i do 18g coffee beans pull per day, and any light roast coffee beans recommendation (I never had light roast before) ? Would be nice if knowing where can I get the beans too.
