hi bro, since you are compiling milk for frothing. here's my input though they are not exactly apple-to-apple comparison

Farm Fresh (Pure Fresh Milk)
Experience: > 300 L
Price: Low to Low-Mid
Result: Consistently good
Taste: Mid Sweet (depending to temperature, of course. mine is always around 60°C).
Ease to Prepare (including latte art): Easy
Stable Texture: Good (after 30 mins)
Problem: I am avoiding 2L bottle because the aluminium foil seal sucks (can see different color label). Some get hardened milk the next day of use, sour, and overly bubbled. I switched to other because of this problem (< 5%) but eventually came back to this brand with 1L pack.

other experiences...

Yarra Full Cream Milk
Experience: < 10 L
Price: Low - Low Mid
Result: Quite good
Taste: Mid Sweet, slightly less than Farm Fresh.
Ease to Prepare (including latte art): Mid to Hard, well it's full cream milk
Stable Texture: Fair (as i don't have enough experience to tell how long)
Problem: Haven't experienced any

Tesco Low Fat Fresh Milk (hard to get
Experience: < 10 L
Price: Low (est?)
Result: So-so
Taste: Not sweet, slightly less than Farm Fresh.
Ease to Prepare (including latte art): Mid to Hard
Stable Texture: Fair (as i don't have enough experience to tell how long)
Problem: Haven't experienced any

Goodday Fresh Milk
Experience: < 10 L
Price: Mid - High
Result: OK
Taste: Normal to me, but my girl doesn't like it
Ease to Prepare (including latte art): Mid
Stable Texture: Fair (as i don't have enough experience to tell how long)
Problem: Haven't experienced any

Also tried:
- Farmhouse but the price is rather high (almost RM 10 / L) and doesn't make economical sense to to consume on regular basis.
- F&N Magnolia Barista Milk (price can't remember now about RM 6 / L +/-) taste unnatural, feel synthetic, insipid and not so mellow

thanks for the feedback bro. I’m new to this making coffee stuff *usually nescafe all the way, going to start with moka pot thumbup.gif

1) easy one press button
2) mostly espresso / lungo. sometimes cappucino
3) coffee can be from either capsule or coffee bean

looking at nespresso but open to other options

Where to buy Lelit Bianca & how much is it selling for ?
Hi

So can I know where did u get the Bianca, for how much and how’s the performance? Any problem with servicing the machine?

quote=raist86,Jan 25 2021, 09:25 AM]
Was looking at Mara X initially after Zellleonhart recommended it, ended up going for Bianca.. just now trying to see if can slot in to the current order slot by supplier. It has all the bells and whistles and a rather complete package.. Looks good too on the counter. Am starting own bean roasting so having flow control would give me more manual adjustments to play around.

Did a lot of reading past couple days comparing the Bianca vs Profitec Pro 600, 700, ECM Synchronika, Rocket Cinquantotto. The Bianca is the best value of the bunch and i do see alot of user support in forums. As what Zellleonhart says, flow control, bottomless PF, option to direct plumb in water and rotary pump in one complete package is a steal. The only pain point i see is there's no official distri here in Malaysia except for a few importers. But they do tell me that they can service and repair the machines here with parts provided by Lelit. It's also a PITA to order the stock, so patience is required. Profitec and Rocket are supported by more established distributors.

I decided to go with E61 group dual boiler because of the established design and ease of repair (relatively, because most of the parts are off the shelf commercial items). I'm abit of a handy person, so as long there's user guide & manuals, i can do minor repairs / service on my own. This is my 2nd machine as i started off with Breville Barista Express almost 6 years ago and after much thought, the HX E61 is not that big a jump of an upgrade. I want to get something that will allow me to explore further without limitation and have manual controls on hand to play around.

Oh yea, make sure u also set aside a budget to get a reasonably good grinder otherwise you'll not be able to fully utilize a high end machine.. i currently already have a breville SGP and plan to get a Niche Zero (when it is available to order)... Such a pain to get equipments nowadays... Got money buy also cannot get.. hahaha.. i realized that the Covid siituation has made alot of ppl start to explore home brewing and machines are flying off the shelves..

Hi all, i wish to purchase my first entrance coffee machine, budget around 1k. Currently in my list after viewing the forum and you-tube review:

1. Gemilai CM3605 (RM700+/- on shopee)
2. Delonghi ECP35.31 (RM799)

Any suggestion or input from current owner?
Usage is about 2 cup every morning, maybe few more in the weekend.

I am also finding "okay-ish" grinder around RM150+ but seems like most of them are RM300+ sweat.gif

The ad from Delonghi EC785.AZ (RM1,699 with promotion free Grinder and tamper) also caught my eye and seems very tempting lol.

notworthy.gif hopefully can get some suggestion

I also preorder df64. I order from J Coffee. Did you order there? I can tell you their replies suck big time. ask anything take them ages to reply whether on FB or whatsapp. I ask them when is the eta for the df64 since they promised early to mid of Oct. Totally no answer. This is really the first and last order with them. Ask to join Milesto group also not approval. I gotten WPM KD310 but no grinder at the moment that can grind for espresso.

Hi guys, been using Gemilai CRM3605 for some time and recently I bought a 58mm bottomless portafilter from Lazada.

Was super excited when I received it yesterday but unfortunately it couldn't fit into my espresso machine. Is there any other recommendations from other people here?

PS: I'm letting go the said portafilter if anyone is interested.
