iam using 8mb streamyx, currently using trial a/c. Netflix only give me 480 quality and mostly in the night time, sometimes even drop to 240!
Day time can provide at 1080 but inconsistently!

What devices you use if i may ask?

Tplink 8980 and sony 40' w65d. Wifi signal is excellent.

Netflix doesn't work with Getflix.

I did come across the proxy message yesterday when i was testing it out on Unifi. But it is working fine with Time BB though.

Try changing to other regions and see....for Netflix USA alone, Getflix has 5 regions.

OTW time to move up to 100Mbps or more with Time BB!!

Same here, I think screamyx screwed up on the connection
Was able to get 1080 constantly past few weeks, but since 2 days ago I only can get 480 at best

Probably... However, been able to consistently stream at 1080p.. Unifi VIP10 Ethernet connection to TV.. TV app.. Stock router..

Streaming or YouTube seldom viewable in hd but torrent or http download can reach 900k ~ 1.1m /s. Weird streamyx.

You didnt try enough thats why it didnt work. Im still enjoying the US Netflix, and did encounter some downs previously but theres always a workaround if caught using proxies.

Getflix works for me for 2 days and before the dreaded proxy notice pop-up (either US or Canada channel). As mention by emy_xvidia, try again and again for other approach/turnaround.... now i enjoying Canada Netflix without any hiccup after hours of tweaking the settings.

that may not hv anything to do with streamyx.

youtube... do u mean the 1080p stream is lagging or the 1080p does not show up for u to select?


not all videos have 1080p or 720p selection, some are as low as 360p.

also, depending on which version of u-tube, some smart tv's or device may not deliver >702p.
