Set up my Shield TV with Netflix flawlessly......maybe need some network tweaking again as Netflix viewing experience is still rather blurry "SD" type of resolution. or i just me as myself being spoiled with HyppTV 1080p resolution viewing.

Any workaround to force HD streaming fro Shield TV? i subscribed to Netflix HD plan with 30Mbps Unifi Advance.

do you see the videos labeled as hd 5.1?

if there are, then all is good.

unifi is having intermittent speed drops.

it is possible hd becomes sd sometimes for a few seconds, maybe half a minute.
*
ya, all label HD 5.1....thanks for the advised. will monitor closely.

Router QOS? As usual, Ethernet connection preferred over wireless.. The Nvidia Shield TV is undoubtedly capable of delivering Netflix 4K content without breaking a sweat.. Pushing 1080p would be a piece of cake...  smile.gif

Usiing ethernet connection.....yup, QOS also done....now it works immaculately after my account setting>playbank to max@high..

Try changing playback settings to High?
*
Was searching this setting dropbox within shield tv UI....but no available. Instead, i only manage to change the netflix setting via Android phone(Note 4). Yup....it works now without a sweat!

Guys, for the first time I experinced 'buffering' in the middle of 4K tv series last night...around two times in one hour show..

I guess this is something to do with unifi international link problem yesterday?

Anyone experinced this?

I'm on 50Mbps
*
i guess it's TM's fault...i had some DC too while watching Netflix around 10pm-11pm

TV Shows examples.. The Flash or Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. not available on Netflix Malaysia. An example of unavailable movies would be "Django Unchained". These are a few of just the popular titles..

Thanks for the info.....i guess i'd "loss" the US Netflix despite of using DNS. Was enjoying The Flash last night...but not today!

My DNS works as usual already for US content, but the stream is not a full capacity/resolution (guess due to TM undersea cable issues). Revert back to local streaming for that glorious viewing.

iam using 8mb streamyx, currently using trial a/c. Netflix only give me 480 quality and mostly in the night time, sometimes even drop to 240!
Day time can provide at 1080 but inconsistently!

nope getflix dont work for me , just try last week. say bye bye to netflix US
*
Getflix works for me for 2 days and before the dreaded proxy notice pop-up (either US or Canada channel). As mention by emy_xvidia, try again and again for other approach/turnaround.... now i enjoying Canada Netflix without any hiccup after hours of tweaking the settings.

Many people say Netflix block Getflix, how come I still can watch USA Netflix? And I believe some others also can

I'm still on Netflix Canada thru that services too (Catching up with X-files and 24 Series)
