i can't help but suspect it was a unifi template excuse to cover up an operation to "clean up" certain things incl netflix.

anyway, good if one can still get it.

meanwhile, all my connections are pretty much back to normal, torrents full speed, local netflix 100% HD, nothing unusual. this mar 25-31 job may be just an eyewash.

my ip has always been 192.168... since day 1 unifi.

GETFLIX kantoi-ed, cannot watch US region anymore. Anyone having same experience?

What devices are you using to watch? I've tried a few different region also cannot. Are you sure you are looking at US Contents? (ex: Shadowhunters)

I set the dns to my router + 9 static routes. Work well for me so far. Catching up on Narcos in 4k is just great.
I cant really say if you wanna set it on each device or tv. I had bad experience setting it up on my pc thus leading me to router setup.

My Hulu/Netflix streams to hd a lot faster on vpn than dns which was surprising. Using it on digi infinity btw

If you're on unifi then using their dns is enough to get 4k

Hisense 4K tv, and also yes got info on bitrate,resolution ect when pressing info. 4k stream fine with smart DNS but getflix f**kup malaysian dns since last week. Dint get the chance to activate the dns back since I just binge watching Izombie now, and they have it on netflix malaysia.

When it's working, yeah you can stream 4K.. Trouble is the cat and mouse game with Netflix.
