Achieving 4 hours plus too, only when I'm constantly aware to dim my screen.

my 4 hours are 1 day usage lo.. before i sleep, full charged and unplug until night 10pm like that..

i do turned on data, GPS, bluetooth (connected to smartwatch 3) all the time.. so slightly shorter.. around 4 hours of SOT.. just average.. not great if compare with others.. probably 4k display consume most of the battery ady.. some people said Snapdragon 810 is the culprit.. probably..

The album photo rendering lag is really annoying.

Especially in viewing pictures above 10mb, delay 3-4 seconds before unlocking details and colors.

Hey guys, just wondering that will the XZ5 back and front glass will crack itself?

Because I've surf around the web, seeing that the glass will crack itself and or unintended force will simply crack it.

It really turn me off to buying this phone though. Even though I like it so much.

Thanks.

Haha. Seldom to heard this. My personal opinion, phone won't crack itself without any reason. Must be something else. My case, hot device, put under water and it's still fine.

On Z5P, no issue.
Z5, on the Internet maybe yes but so far no one came back regarding this yet.

IMHO it will perform great under a good person with a good photography-know-how. For me, i rather follow my wife toward samsung for it snappy capture speed, fancy option (they have wide selfie weee!) And overall ease of use. Bought samsung already n planning to sell my z5c which im not using anymore. Not to lead u away, thats only my personal experience.. been a fan of sony great phone design, but really cant stand the clunky slow camera.. couldnt keep up with my active son n work needs.. the camera easily shutdown after few minutes video recording (the ambient temp do play a role here) huhu.. so shame to my bos n collegue..

Not for my case. I'm using to record a lot of videos with steadyshot on. Compile all the video into these. Good quality for me.

But front camera is okay.. make sure your hand is steady.. if u use to selfie with camera shutter key, i will recommend you set timer like 0.5s or 2 seconds to make sure your hand hold steady.

I have seen a lot people lie for warranty . The company forced to repair it to maintain their reputation .
Insist it break itself even that is obviously a drop .

If You've Broken Something: Play Dumb

Call customer support and pretend you know absolutely nothing about technology, and the darn thing just stopped working on you and you have no idea why. The more clueless you seem, the more likely they are to believe that the device is actually defective.

If No One's Listening: Whine In Public

This won't work if you're clearly in the wrong, but if you're getting the runaround from a company, going public with the issue can help a lot. Blogger Matthew McMillon relays his experience on Gizmodo: After fighting with Apple over a MacBook repair, he blogged about it and they ended up fixing his computer.

If you put in your pant's front pocket be careful when squatting. Don't let your phone bend over your thigh.
It can crack the glass on the screen.
Bad experience with my Xperia Z in March when moving office.
Service Center quoted RM 11xx for the replacement including tank test for the IP57.
I just change to S7 Edge.

Depends on your installed applications. Quite quick here. I restart it every 3 to 4 days.

my experience using the Z5C for a short period of time.

1. photography - its not as easy as say... Note5 to get good photo. few occasion i was indoor but bright. the capture was delayed and i move after the shutter sound. i got blurry pic. with good light, i can get good picture. compared to Note 5, i honestly prefer the Samsung. im not a photographer messing with setting. with Z5C, half the time, my photo came out less than satisfactory.

2. Batttery is AWESOME. its been a long long time since i start the day 100%, end of day at least 50%. however, i have to say my usage is light, less than 5 call a day, NO FACEBOOK. most of the time i spend is surfing, music and youtube.

3. Sound. i love HTC Boomsound and i think Z5C is pretty good. its was M7 back then, mayb boomsound got better but my Z5C is good for me now. neck to neck against Boomsound but miles ahead of the others (mayb the Lemovo X3 have a fight here). Plug my headphone in and i notice the difference compare to all the others ive used. this is the best i got so far. Have not tried HTC 10 which my fren using and he singing praise how good headphone audio sounds.

4. ROM. of all the brand i;ve used, i have to admit Sony's is probably right at the bottom. i hate Touchwiz but at least some of the bloats are useful. too much bloat overshadow the useful one. coming from Oneplus one, this is like a culture shock. example, i can't toggle the location state (i can juz off or on). been using cyanogen OS for 2 years and i can see how far ahead they are in customization. example of little thing but useful thing. alarm increasing volume... small thing but this is one of the feature i miss.

5. Build. Apart from HTC i think Z5C is 2nd what i have hold. S7 feels premium too but i don't like the glossy glass at the back. the matte glass behind my Z5C is distinct and feel good (at least for me). holding in my hand feel sturdy maybe because of the thickness. However, nothing compare to HTC 10. 10 is just another level of build quality.

footnote:
- one thing that Z5C beats everyone hands down is size. I just love the size.
- one thing i dun like abt Z5C, the heat. this thing get hot (not boiling hot) but noticeable after a while.

*updated... the boot time... now this i have to add to the thing i dun like to Z5C. put side by side against my Oneplus one. Z5C took longer to boot.
