HELP!!! DAI LOOK JOR 😭😭😭

Battery power out for too long then ask for security code, tried default 0000 and every possible password that I've use but no luck, all incorrect. Tried reset but still it will still ask for security code. 😵

Who encounter this b4.. Any choice other than go SC?

Hello all, not sure if anyone has come across this issue like me before, but just for you guys information, I'm able to bypass the security code, all you need to do is:

1. Eject out the SD Card & slot in back then the HU will switch screen and try to read from the SD Card.
2. Then you can then tap on the button "SD Card" on top the it will able to switch to the main screen.
3. Click on "Setting" and TURN OFF the "Theft Protection"
4. Tap "Setting" button on top to go back to main screen.
5. Turn off power (reboot) and it should be working as normal and bypass the security code prompt. And from here onwards, the (physical) "MENU" button on the HU should work.

*I still wasn't able to get the security code change, will update you guys again if I got the chance to get it fix.
But for now, the HU still able to work then I'm soooo "Bersyukurrrr" jor lol blush.gif

Inspira CVT filter.
1) Is it true there are two CVT filters and not just 1 filter only?
2) If there are two filters, is the other one made of paper filter and if so how often we require to change this filter? Where is the location of this filter?

1 is cvt cooler filter below the car's battery (paper type like Yamaha 135LC oil filter)
2 is cvt filter inside the cvt oil sum (wire mesh, can clean with petrol, just change to new o ring)

no.1 i change every 35k km
no.2 i change every 70k km

it is based on ur usage actually..no definite mileage or time

There you go the part no related stuff :
2824A006 cvt cooler filter CVT related (upper)
2920A096 cvt gasket CVT related (upper)
2824A007 cvt filter CVT related (bottom)
2705A015 cvt gasket CVT related (bottom)

2) as per kirie said, sometimes depend on your usage.. if slow move, can change a bit late.. no prob also.

Set it to auto and let the aircond do the rest. Heater is useful during cold weather rainy days.. it may fog on the outer side of windows when it gets too cold in the cabin. Correct me if I'm wrong but I dunno of any benefits bypassing it. There is a valve that only releases hot water through when needed, otherwise its automatically bypassed.

Think I hv seen someone did it.. just install a loop rubber radiator type hose. Maybe that increased some hp.. lol..

maybe got if you're going track, as you'll be circulating hot air without the air cond on, and then you'll eventually fog up your windows with the inside being too hot and outside cold (since high speed air flow)

i'm going to guess the stagnated coolant still manage to heat up and your blower fan is further circulating it lol

That, or the engine bay/exhaust is just damn friggin hot that you're just barbecuing yourself regardless of the coolant bypass or not lol

other than that... no benefit i guess lol.

Foged windows, ..... climate control, is not major concern here, myself experience before this stuff it might giving you trouble in the future. My experienced case is (not in inspira) this unit has solenoid control the coolant flow, as our place in malaysia may not turn on so offen thus related parts get trouble like heater core getting rusty....block, rubber hose get harded, rubber clip and solenoid failure causing the coolant leaking. Just imaging if you cruising on highway 200km/h suddently the solenoid valve open and the rubber hose / heater core get leaking.... shakehead.gif

Hi guys. I visitef the proton showroom yesterday and found out that inspira on discount because of end of production which costs around 70k for a manual 1.8 inspira.

Browsing through usedcar websites and notice the 2.0cvt going for around 40 to 50k anyone got some opinion on the following issues?

1) is inspira a hard and costly car to maintain?
2) i have read about the cvt problem.. is the cvt problem still there? And is there any way to check for a fault cvt gearbox assuming im buying a 2nd hand cvt inspira?

Thank you guys very much smile.gif

Ehh rm70k for manual is an okay price. As for your questions

1)inspira is not a hard but it will be slightly costly to maintain e.g
-CVT gearbox rm27k to replace
-Driveshaft rm3k to replace
-Clutch rm15xx to replace
-Air cond compressor OEM rm5xx to replace etc etc

2)CVT all got a bit of problems, sometimes when speeding the it will say "slow down" at the dashboard

All in all depends on what u want from a car.For me,inspira is a perfect fit for me

Thank you for your feedback. This is my situation now. Im just started work for 1 year or so and am planning to get a car. I have a peugeot 208 that is giving me loads of problems and im looking to replace with something more cost friendly. The reason i am looking for a larger is due to my family (5 of us ) the largest car we have is a honda city and im looking for somethung to fit all of us without the need to squeeze tightly in a car.

When you say speeding, what speed does it normally happen at? Will the light only come out and nothing else? Or will it impact the car as in no more acceleration / problems with the drive?
