QUOTE(Eulm585 @ Mar 29 2016, 07:51 AM) Hi guys. I visitef the proton showroom yesterday and found out that inspira on discount because of end of production which costs around 70k for a manual 1.8 inspira. Ehh rm70k for manual is an okay price. As for your questionsBrowsing through usedcar websites and notice the 2.0cvt going for around 40 to 50k anyone got some opinion on the following issues? 1) is inspira a hard and costly car to maintain? 2) i have read about the cvt problem.. is the cvt problem still there? And is there any way to check for a fault cvt gearbox assuming im buying a 2nd hand cvt inspira? Thank you guys very much 1)inspira is not a hard but it will be slightly costly to maintain e.g -CVT gearbox rm27k to replace -Driveshaft rm3k to replace -Clutch rm15xx to replace -Air cond compressor OEM rm5xx to replace etc etc 2)CVT all got a bit of problems, sometimes when speeding the it will say "slow down" at the dashboard All in all depends on what u want from a car.For me,inspira is a perfect fit for me #inb4buyveeyooss #buygodcar #buyveeyousgetangelababy |

QUOTE(K3nnYkl82 @ Mar 29 2016, 08:29 AM) Wahhh bgs la u org kaya/lucky guy got warrantynah alternative yg murah OEM/refurbish kot for people who don't have the above http://www.mudah.my/Inspira+Mitsubishi+air...or-44976836.htm QUOTE(jh2011 @ Mar 29 2016, 08:40 AM) Hi guys, just curious are this compressor life spent so short for this car ? remember those day my proton wira last almost 10 years. Dunno bro.Honestly i think think spoiled too soon.Actually x ramai yang rosak air cond compressor.By the way +/- how long you guys been using till it starting giving p My honest advise to you bro as previously before i got the car i also research here. If wanna get inspira,i advise to get the manual version,as CVT can do well but it will have issues in the future. -Ready and get used to get half cut parts,if your not willing to do this then the parts can be every expensive very quickly. Good luck |

QUOTE(Eulm585 @ Mar 29 2016, 08:39 AM) Thank you for your feedback. This is my situation now. Im just started work for 1 year or so and am planning to get a car. I have a peugeot 208 that is giving me loads of problems and im looking to replace with something more cost friendly. The reason i am looking for a larger is due to my family (5 of us ) the largest car we have is a honda city and im looking for somethung to fit all of us without the need to squeeze tightly in a car. Bro the interior space of the inspira is not that big bro.I think if compare to the new honda city the interior space it's the same as inspira. If compare boot honda city even bigger.Inspira has a pretty pathetic boot size if u ask me.When you say speeding, what speed does it normally happen at? Will the light only come out and nothing else? Or will it impact the car as in no more acceleration / problems with the drive? QUOTE(win44 @ Mar 29 2016, 04:55 PM) Hey guys, I pay rm150 for rm 900 coverage.Inspira manual windscreen cheap2 cause got no sensor brois our windscreen still cost RM~1800 for 1.8m? i saw from the old old parts list that windscreen alone cost RM 470+? haha just wondering how much i need to insure to cover the windscreen replacement. |

QUOTE(kancs3118 @ May 2 2016, 11:06 PM) Hi guys - need your help urgently - looking to buy Inspira 1.8M (Executive). Bro just my 2 cents bro:Currently, there is a massive discount for Inspira 1.8M (Executive) 2015 models - which come with 3 years warranty priced at about RM62K. However, in www.carlist.my, there is another Inspira 1.8M (2010 model Executive) - - albeit 2nd hand - priced at about RM40K. http://www.carlist.my/used-cars/2676582/20...anual-spec.html A few questions??? (1): Which one is more worth it? Inspira 2015 vs. 2010? Price delta is about RM20K. Before you guys shoot me down, i was informed that Inspira 2010 has about 27% local content whilst the Inspira 2015 has more than 60% local content. Which one is more worth it? Not to forget Inspira 2015 comes with a 3 years warranty. But 60% local content makes me feel worried. (2): What is the maintenance costs for Inspira (on average)? all the while - i just drive an old Wira - maintenance cost is not more than RM1K per year. However, this car is already damn old - more than 20 years (Wira 1995 - carburettor) and selling price is just RM2K. (3): Purpose of this car - is just to drive to work and come back home and probably outstation trip once in a blue moon. Not used for Ah Beng vroom vroom - i am just looking for a reliable ride which can easily last for 10 years plus. Hence, maybe Inspira is just an overkill? Should i hunt for Waja CPS Manual 2008 second hand? Selling for RM20K? Please don't suggest Vios or City because first - these are expensive and second - i am 6 feet tall and very well build. Hence, it is kind of pathetic having to squeeze into a Vios/ City. By the way - Jetta is having a promotion at RM88,888 - but dare not touch it due to DSG and Gearbox issue. 1)Get the new one 2015 model bro.As far as content is concern 2010 and 2015 i think most will be local content. For my i get the inspira 2015 cause manual sometimes got clutch issues so better to have some warrenty 2)As far as servicing it requires a 4.3 liter fully syn oil (or a good semi).Tyres if u stick to the current 16 inch then no prob, but if u itchy like me change to 18 inch rims then it will cause u a bomb. Insurance and roadtax i think for the 1st year is around rm2k so there that. Another that will the spare parts.Inspira might be cheap to buy but expect civic level of prices for certain parts.Driveshaft 1 side rm3k,clutch and clutch pump ready rm1.5 to rm 2k.Air cond compressor will set you back rm700. 3)As far as reliable goes i think inspira is damn reliable.Mitsu engine and gearbox. But the interior sucks ass with some noises here and there. Hope it helps bro |
