Nowadays not exactly 'free'. It's only free tickets but Still need to pay airport tsc and fuel surcharges. At least for MAS

Don't bother. What is inside there is public FREE INFORMATION
People just MILK you multiple times if you subscribe
You want to be a COW? Let people milk you once with subscription the continue MILKING you
Want to be MOOO MOOO COW then pay laahhhh

FREE IS THE BEST

One of the first KEY card to have is AMEX 2 PREMIER
You can check Maybank 2 Cards Premier thread

I have shared minimum requirement if can't meet income there and the ways to use it to generate LOADS of Miles
At 2.39% service charge using impact - 3.48 sen a mile for KrisFlyer

I also shared BETTER METHOD than what paying 997 RM to be MILKED. Use TnG PINS from LAZADA to get 1500 RM free miles every TNG Wallet

SECOND Card to Have is CIMB TRAVEL WORLD ELITE
CIMB TWE
Actually in 2023 it is better than SIA KRISFLYER

How? Wait I will share the method in CIMB Credit Card Thread later

Many thanks for sharing.

I have not used Krisflyer as flights could not always be confirmed in real time previously - there were waiting lists. Not sure if things have changed?

For Enrich, officially, 1 Enrich mile is worth RM 0.0417 (attached a print-screen when I redeemed one-way LHR-KUL business class seat few months ago).

If a customer transfers RM 10k from CIMB WTE to SSPN via the Favepay-IIMMPACT route, they will earn 10,000 Enrich miles officially worth RM 417. The cost will be 2.39% (plus RM 1 per deposit to SSPN) at about RM 239, such that the net gain is RM 178 (1.78% gain based on official Enrich value - provided that the miles do not get devalued).

Alternatively, the CIMB WTE Reward Points RM 10k x 10 = 100k points) can be converted to cashback worth RM 250. (400 points = RM 1). So the net gain is only RM 11 = 0.11% (based on official CIMB cashback rate).

The summary

1 Enrich mile worth RM 0.0417
CIMB WTE offers 2.5% cashback for each RM 1 spend (formal rate)

Routing RM 10k from CIMB WTE to SSPN via Favepay-IIMMPACT route
Net 1.78% gain (official Enrich value)
Net 0.11% (official CIMB WTE cashback value)

But then this is all free reward. SSPN is also running a lucky draw promotion. One lucky winner will win RM 150k grand prize at the end of the year.
The CIMB Rewards are best redeemed via flights rather than official cashback.

Yes, you may link credit card to Favepay to pay into IIMMPACT - but the charge is 2.39%. So, it is really not worth it.

I know need to call for redemption, but I can't find where to get the available date.

Hi All the masters here,

I read through alot master here, but I don't know what is SSPN, Favepay and etc, I just swipe for purchase and other payment mega_shok.gif

Last week actually I called CIMB to cancel their CIMB Travel Platinum Card, I told them that this card not as good as my M2P. And I ask what kind of card can upgrade for airmiles purpose. Today, I received an upgraded card of CIMB WTE.

By the way, cut it short. Do this card better than M2P? The annual fees is much more than M2P and the minimum to waive the annual fees also very high. Just wondering whether I should cancel it and continue my M2P or vice versa? confused.gif

Your valuable feedback is much appreciated! Have a great day thumbup.gif

The differences are as follow
1. Income requirement CIMB 250k vs MBB 100k

2. Annual fee CIMB RM1,215.09 vs MBB RM800

3. AF waiver CIMB 250k vs 80k

4. Points CIMB now 10x point on every ringgit spend vs MBB 5x points on AR (VI 2x point, MUVI 5x if MU win a EPL game)

5. Conversion rate to miles CIMB 10,000BP to 1,000 miles vs MBB 7,000 TP to 1,000 miles
CIMB RM1=1miles vs MBB RM1.40=1miles (CIMB promo 10x point until 31 Dec 2023)

As of today CIMB TWE is clear winner for miles (Enrich) conversion...
