Hey guys, i have quite an amount of Enrich miles. May i know what can i use it for except for extra baggage payment and airline ticket purchase??

Think it's down to personal preference. For me, I would definitely go for one way to London, rather than business return Tokyo.

i just redeemed CX from amsterdam to HK one way and gave up korea/jp return. anor reason is that jp timing not nice, mid night flight

If it's a trip purely for the journey and not destination, I would choose a return KUL-NRT.

Reasons :

1. KUL - NRT is 6h45m, combined with the return similar to (KUL-LHR 14h one way)
2. Both routes use A350
3. In NRT, you'd have 4 OneWorld Lounges : JL, AA, CX, QF

Just note the lounges are not open all the time, but at least you'd have 2 MH timings to choose from for NRT.

Bonus, you'd get satay twice compared to only once on LHR route 

If LHR, in T4 you'd only have MH and maybe Qatar's lounge if they allow access (rules are changing so depends on your travel date).

It's unlikely you'll be able to access the OneWorld lounges in T3 if not connecting through LHR (unless you do a same day turn around?)

I prioritise in getting frequent flyer miles. that's why I ask here. how is this irrelevant?

I tend to just transfer to enrich due to lower yq and easier redemption.

Hi, I am thinking to redeem for airmiles points but am torn between enrich and kris flyer points. Which is more worth it? Im planning for a year end trip to Tokyo and would like to utilise the points for miles. Is anyone familiar with this care to share? In terms of fares SQ flights are cheaper than MAS....

yes i do have a credit card already is Citi rewards. One thing for MAS is we can offset the points and top up with cash making it cheaper. How about SQ Kris? I tried searching most of the miles are 45k and for those 27k in wishlist.

It depends on whether one prefers to use the miles to redeem flights or convert to cash.

1) If redeeming flights is preferable and there is limited number of miles, then this offer is not attractive.

2) If one has enough miles for flight redemption and extra miles to convert to cash, then this is excellent offer - perhaps "once in a lifetime offer". Normally, it is very difficult to achieve Enrich Gold status, unless one's company pays for full fare international flights with MAS or One World Alliance, many times a year. The Enrich Gold / Sapphire Blue One World status grants its holders the access to business class lounges, priority boarding, and extra 50% luggage allowance whenever you are flying Economy class on ANY airlines in the One World Alliance - this includes Cathy Pacific, British Airway, Qatar, Japan Airlines, etc.

For example, if one has the CIMB WTE credit card, 800,000 points. These can be converted to either 80,000 Enrich miles or RM 2000 cashback directly into CIMB savings/current account.

This month, Enrich offers 10% extra miles if you convert Points to Enrich.
Therefore,

800,000 CIMB Points > 88,000 miles (inclusive of 10% miles)

88,000 Enrich miles can be converted to 88,000 EnrichMoney points (1:1 conversion). The 88,000 EnrichMoney points can be converted to cashback of 88,000/40 = RM 2200 to spend via the EnrichMoney Prepaid Visa card. Additionally and most importantly, you also earn Enrich GOLD / SAPPHIRE BLUE status with all One World airlines for about 15 months - with expiry in December 2024.

I think the offer is too good to be true but true - more so when coupled with 10% extra Miles this month

For MAS Enrich only, the best is:
1st: HSBC Premier Travel Mastercard.  RM1 (overseas spend only) gives 1.1 Enrich
2nd: CIMB Travel Elite Mastercard. RM1 (local and overseas spend) give 1.0 Enrich

For other airlines, e.g. Krisflyer, Asiamiles, etc. other cards such as Maybank or UOB are better.

Currently, I am focused on accumulating Enrich because MAS has a special category of economy class tickets for Enrich redemption which is quite good - typically available if you search several months in advance of travel dates.

Yes. HSBC Premier Travel Air Miles (1 Air Mile = 1Enrich) awarded are capped at 20,000 Air Miles for overseas spend and 30,000 Air Miles for local spend per calendar month.

The FX conversion rate used has an additional 1% fee built in. That's why some others have commented that it is "expensive". I travel overseas regularly for work and get reimbursed for whatever I actually spend - so the FX conversion rate applied by the credit card is acceptable for me. The CIMB Travel Elite card FX rate on foreign spend is better because it doesn't have this extra 1% fee.

So far this year, I have travelled to Hong Kong economy return costing 25,600 Enrich plus RM348 taxes & fees. Phuket economy return 13,200 Enrich plus RM205 taxes & fees.

Hi all, which cards still give good points for airmiles redemption for e-wallet transactions? With the revision of CIMB TWE bonus points, I'm struggling to find another replacement. I have Alliance VI, and that's for RM 3k spending; what about others? I have quite a number of cards, and I am okay with applying for new cards as well.
