Actually if you really eligible for CIMB TWE ... for sure you have some ways to ... generate the spending.
specially for those who are into "purchasing" part.

Recently one of my colleague told me he managed to redeem business class flight for him, his wife and child to go NZ. He said he only accumulated the points for a year or two. I asked how he did it because he's not a heavy spender or frequent flyer.

He replied that he could abuse the system by fabricating spending (such as the TNG reload in the past, he said he uses many apps). Just out of curiosity, does it make sense?

Sorry for potentially a very dumb question, but I'm a noob in this field. He said his business flight would've cost MYR80k for each person.

It’s known as manufactured spending. Not entirely free. Got to plan the right strategy and time to do all this. You need to weigh the risk

Yes. But not sure if it's still valid today as many ewallet have restricted topup by cards to around RM1K/account.

That why ewallet was banned by Malaysian banks because of this. Basically reload into ewallet withdraw the money out. Rinse and repeat for each family members and each ewallet. On top of that likely your friend use one card for one whole household spending.

Saturday. Basically you have to spend first and pray hard for MU to win the match later. Unless you want to earn x5 firmly then yes you have only 30mins to do the spending after the match

True. I've decided to put in my application for it. Will see how I decide to churn points between this and my Amex Plat. The downside to this is no Krisflyer but KF has been so hard to redeem anything lately, I might be better off stashing some points elsewhere anyway. Maybe can utilize some of the FFPs that we didn't have a chance to try with MBB cards.
