Sorry bro din know that statement can be taken in bad light. Sabah I'm in. But i can reassure you that to me a better proficiency in bahasa as compared to english is nth bad. At least to me. Language proficiency is not an indicator of status whatsoever. We shouldnt judge ppl based on language proficiency.

Hi everyone here. I'm new to this forum and new to FSM too.

I just graduated and started working for 3 months. I heard of FSM from some of my relatives and I decided to try and start investing. I just placed RM1,000 into the Kenanga Growth Fund.

I also did some reading and found out that asset allocation is important when investing in funds. I am going for a 80% equity and 20% fixed income portfolio. Just wanted to ask some advice on all the sifu sifu here on tips regarding portfolio building. Any good example to share with me?

My uncanny observation:

1) Bolehland stock goes up.

2) Global Titan goes down.

3) Ponzi 2.0 is hovering around, I have a feeling it may have found its support level.

Observation 1) & 2) is the classic example of what we meant by low correlation, and why asset allocation is important.

I topped up AmPrecious Metal and sold off my Titanic last Tuesday. This week will top up Ponzi 1.0.

Why did you decided to sell GTF?

well done....looks like good timing....
1 is in the top 5 highest returns and the other one is in the top 5 lowest returns...
just keep close watch on amprecious metal....looks like very volatile (up down very fast in a short span of few days period)

Hmm.... Not sure if 1 month performance chart really give much indication of the longer term performance... but if you are trading UT I supposed that would be how you would do it

EVEN if it is 3 years...there is no indication that the performance may repeat....that is the basis of investing....
