Dont forget that the Lancaster MBA program offered by Sunway differs slightly from the MBA offered in Lankaster. The program here in Malaysia isnt triple accredited. Sunway misleads ppl into thinking that the program is triple accedited.

Anyway the best MBA program in the region is the INSEAD MBA offered in Singapore. But it also costs a bomb.

If ure trying to decide if that MBA programme is good then asking for students experience is not the right way to go because they don't have a benchmark to compare against. That's why most alumni of all MBA programmes will say their MBA course is good. Typical human behaviour of self validation.

Your basis for choosing should be on the ranking of the business school and the programme itself plus the cost vs benefit assessment for your career path. And right now the Sunway Lancaster MBA programme is the 2nd best in Malaysia after Asia School of Business.

But you mentioned it's not tripple accredited?

I think we have to understand that the triple accreditation only sensible towards the piece of paper we receive at the end of the course.

In this case, if you join the Lancaster/Sunway program, you will be receiving a piece of paper from Lancaster, in which reflects it is a triple accredited course.

To be honest, not so sure why everyone is so obsess with it. IMHO, we should look at the quality of the course in terms of delivery and the experience surround it.

Both are important.

Accreditation is a way that tell the public that the course had met a certain requirement that been set by external bodies. The local delivery and learning experience will be another factor that a candidate should consider.

It depends on what kind of accreditation we are looking at. To me, there are two kinds of accreditation. First is a national body which assess the quality of the overall programme, in which I'm incline to support it. Secondly, it is course/field/industry specific accreditation, my personal experience view it as hit and miss. I do appreciate the efforts of MMC and BEM. But yet to see the value of social science focused accreditation. Of course, all these are my own personal view smile.gif

Check out the list of business schools with triple accreditation, and see how many that you know smile.gif https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triple_accreditation

It may change time to time due to uni arrangement or local college needs.

It would best for you to communicate with any local associate/college directly.

It your own education anyway..

just go to sign up any business related Master of Science which have joint lecture class with Business school, then you can sign up for modules related to MBA.

but just that your Master degree at the end not MBA la..

at the end of the day, you have to prove employers out there your skillset is worth as much as MBA, by showing the modules you're taking.

Of course you got to manage the expection, NUS is not Ivy League school, but it's Asia best university, ranking wise I would say global top 20

It's still giving you some boost to join MBB consulting firm

Based on my understanding, you will get Lancaster MBA certificate and transcript that is identical to that of Lancaster full time MBA in UK when u complete the course. Maybe can check with Sunway.

Just go to NUS biz school website to check out la
And just to note that you need PR/citizen to enjoy subsidized rate

For me, I am not aiming for consulting firm, just want to learn some strategy course as I might take up internal strategy role.

So dont think need to spend 60k Sgd or 85k Euro to take Insead mba
