The explanation say it will be dedicated lane the middle of the road unless if needed to cross Lake or highway then will be flyover/bridge.

If two lanes is dedicated to tram, it will be fun to drive in cbj.

This place will need govt support for a long time. No self support. Everything over priced and restricted. Not much freedom.

SPAD.

In any case, more info should be coming out soon. The CEO was quoted as saying the following recently:

"We have got approval from the economic council to investigate and study a tram system in Putrajaya and Cyberjaya, in their city centres," Azharuddin says. "This will come up publically in the next few months, and we are doing detailed engineering at the moment."

Azharuddin could not confirm the expected completion date for the inaugural project, but said that depending on its success, Spad is keen to roll out light rail in other areas. He added that it hadn't ruled out other monorail projects for similar transit connectivity schemes, but is now leaning toward trams.

I dont think its that easy to build hsr in Kg Dato Abu Bakar Baginda.
Theres too many housing already been built there. All bungalow lots!
Land status there abit confusing, cos some freehold, some leasehold, but mostly malay reserved. and part of it under kajang, part of it under sepang.
And cb lar, my land also affected within the area. I want to build house there, not to sell to ccbmadapakar

Enough on HSR - let's talk about the food in Cyberjaya.
Anyone would like to share the latest findings on their last visit to any nice food in cyber?
Saw this shop - "yummy-sushi" at glomac and haven't got a chance to try it. Is it any good?

Is this the one few doors away from Zawara coffee?

If it is, the food is not bad, and price reasonable.

Thumbs up to the management of D pulze to bring in so many nice tenants in this community mall.

The land plots were bought by many investors, and split it into many small individual titles.the banglo lots also has been sold to many different outside ppl. To say ita owned by specific crony is i believe unimaginable. The bigger part of the area is actually old kampung house from the 80s.

Its more towards taking the peoples land by force and compensate them instead.
Not a crony try to dispose his land to gomen thru hsr project

old kampung house more easy to acquire than the new city house. less "problem".

and it's malay reserved. so not many developers or people willing to buy it

no wonder gomen "target" this area.
