sometimes Putrajaya mentioned for HSR news, sometimes not. Cyberjaya owners and residents sure wish they have a stop here.

I think it's still a peaceful place to stay. There are many big townships which is not happening also during weekends...for eg. Putra Heights, Bukit Jelutong, Kota Kemuning but they r quite nice residential area.
At least Cyberjaya have places like Shaftsbury and Dpulze which offers plenty of F&B choices. Cinema, bowling, karaoke, gyms, sports and recreational, parks, all within 5mins can reach. Well, I'm happy to live in a place like that and it looks promising to have more offerings in the future. |

Haha... never ending story... I think next time when there are chinese kopitiam with hawker stalls, then they might start complaining the food not nice in Cyberjaya. |

QUOTE(Babizz @ Dec 17 2015, 07:44 AM) any comments on rbc dexia moving a lot of its ops to kl sentral? it will b operating frm 2 offices.. 60% in kls 40% in cyber..reason to capture young graduates tht dont wana drive to sibehjaya Seriously? Wow, nowadays young graduates get to demand higher pay and also get to be picky? https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/720910/+480 I really doubt they move because they want to capture young graduates... Every year there's so many graduates from MMU itself, I'm sure there are more than enough young graduates willing to work in Cyberjaya. Unless RBC Dexia has too many headcounts till they can't fill up. |

QUOTE(Babizz @ Dec 17 2015, 01:02 PM) give u a choice if u live in subang shah alam pj klang to tke train to work in KL or pay a lot to travel by car (toll petrol n parking) to cyber.. Moreover many companies thr r shared svc which r lower paid companies (excl IT companies thr which some pay well). Bro, how many company is within walking distance to train station? If everyone so easily can access to train station, our road will not be that jam. There r a lot people staying in places u mentioned, but there r plenty who stays in puchong, seri kembangan, kajang, bangi, etc which are nearer to Cyberjaya as well. And most of them don't have easy access to train station. |

QUOTE(Babizz @ Dec 17 2015, 04:28 PM) bro many companies leh..by 2017 most major office hubs in KL wld be walking distance to train stations.. fr now those along d kelana jaya line from bsar south bsar kl sentral masjid jamek klcc ampang park dang wangi etc.. btw puchong got lrt to kl yah.. Haha...okay la. Not arguing, but comparison many still not reachable by train. When taking train must consider walkability on both ends....origin and destination. If either one is not convenient, then people will not take train. Its abt giving people a CHOICE.. some still choose to drive while some take d train.. if train nt imp rbc wont choose to be in klsentrals.. Huawei expanding in cyber..got article today!! For Puchong LRT, I'm very well aware of it, but it's only up to BK5 now. Next year only cover the rest. All these while majority has been travelling to work by car. Back to Cyberjaya, if the LRT extensions, new LRT3, MRT, MRT2 delivered on time and reliable, many will choose to travel on trains....CCC should do well coz it will attract more companies there. |

QUOTE(max_cavalera @ Dec 21 2015, 10:23 AM) Quite attractive... Quite true it's not ideal place for many. But for those working there should find it more attractive to stay here since everything increase. Avoid jam, avoid toll, avoid using too much petrol and gain some extra quality time rather than stuck in jam. Also, once MRT2 ready, going to work anywhere along the LRT/MRT line will not be an issue. Isn't that still better than many locations? At least this siberfar place have existing ERL, future MRT2 and HSR.Low density, low traffic, less hectic life... But if u work outside cyberjaya its quite far... Addedwith increasing toll, fuel and time lost travelling cost... Doesnt make it an ideal place for many... Cyberjaya Hospital seems to be on track as they have initiated to invite consultants to register interest. Skypark and Tamarind Square will add on more hang out place. CCC will also bring in a lot people. My only hope is that govt will implement a daily cap for those using touch n go for public transport. Something like RM 8 per day no matter how many times u hop on and hop off the train or public buses. That will encourage more people to take the public transport. |

QUOTE(matthewctj @ Dec 21 2015, 11:09 AM) True, yet subjective. Those who are drawn to CBJ or any location for that matter, did so for based on their objective and criteria, not mine, not you, nor anyone for that matter. As long as they are happy with their purchase, for what ever reasons, who are we to dispute their choice? Frankly, if I have no interest in that location, I wouldn't even go in there to spout nonsense about why I have no interest in that location. I have better things to do. Bro, quite true, I don't go comment other places which I think is not ideal coz it's my personal view.Ideal is a matter of perspective. I like Mont Kiara, but I can't afford it. So, I stay away from commenting in those threads. Poor man mah ... I don't like Semenyih, yet Eco Majestic attracts many. Still, I stay away from that thread coz my reason for not liking that area, is mine alone. Those who bought it, did so according to their needs, not mine. Just because I work in PJ, doesn't mean I can afford PJ homes. Just because I work in Bangsar, doesn't mean I can afford homes around that area. Thus, it eludes me on why people who have no interest in that area, keep coming back to enforce their reason for not liking that area. It's weird coz it wastes their time, yet bears no consequences to them whether it is successful or not. They seem to jerk off to making people upset with their choice. On a side note, I'm happy with the growing crowd of D'Pulze. For the first time after many visits, I have to go down to B2 for parking, that also requires many turns before finding a spot. However, they do need to fix their glass roof. It leaks and wets the floor near the cinema level, making it slippery. And water leaking onto the double floor escalator will in turn cause electrical issue if it gets into the electronic/mechanical components. I'm torn between deciding whether to move to 770 sqft HYVE (3 car parks) or 958 sqft Verdi (2 car parks), since HYVE may complete at least 12 months ahead of Verdi from the looks of progress at site. I'm so looking forward to cutting my travel time to my work place in Puchong, from where I live currently. Don't want to waste renovation money on HYVE only to discover Verdi is more attractive for better living environment. Downside to HYVE is that there isn't any yard, compared to Verdi. That makes drying clothes a hassle as I prefer not to use dryer. Also, looking forward to the SEG flyover to open up for more options of accessibility towards CBJ. I wish the authorities would quickly repair the collapsed bridge. It's an eyesore and an inconvenient to road users. But at least some of the critics are familiar with Cyberjaya. But as u said, it's their objective and criteria. Some expert comment based on few years ago experience in Cyberjaya. Just choose what u like to listen lor. |

Wow, just realise MyTown shopping mall (new Ikea) at Jalan Cochrane will have a new ramp from MEX highway. Travelling time should be less than 20 mins from Cyberjaya?
