Do u encounter any other lighting not functioning ? Like reverse light, number plate lighting ? If yes, then it is easy for u to look for the correct fuse. Normally dashboard lighting fuse are joint with other lighting.
Unplug the fuse and look inside the metal thing, if broken mean this fuse already burnt.
Go to any sparepart shop. It only cost tiny cents per pcs.
If u cant find it, better ask foreman to chk for u.

your description more like intermittent wiring or electronic short, not as simple as fuse blown as that would be permanent effect until you replace the fuse.
usually foreman won't touch the wiring stuff, they will recommend you to wiring guy. bear in mind some "big group" of accessories shop also not familiar of car wiring, just simply tap wiring point. Last time my father's car screen for reverse camera no power after rear accident repair, the accident repair workshop just sent to big accessories shop and the technician took more than 30 mins to tap to a permanent power source, once start car the screen will always displaying unless i off it my self, their sifu lied to me reverse camera screen is like that one, need permanent on de (wtf, luckily workshop gaodim the fee so i no need pay). Later i send back to the place i installed the reverse camera, the technician just done in less than 10 mins.

where is your location? I can intro you an old uncle wiring man. last time i tried his service on audi, but i think should have no problem dealing with simple wiring on persona gua.

now what problem you have? meter panel lighting resume normal right? only signals cannot use?

Hi guys I need your help. Just sent my car for a 5k km service at 16000km and they ask me to replace power streering fluid and to service aircond which they will refill the gas. Is this necessary? I was quoted around Rm 300 for that 2 extra service

Power steering depends on you. Recommend interval is 20k km but if it's still fairly red, you can skip it if you want. As for the air Cond gas, if your car's ac is still cold, you don't have to top up. Maybe add compressor oil only. This one can do at an AC workshop.

New Persona owner.

Going Proton tomorrow to collect my new Proton Persona SV. This model really value for money at Rm42k after discount. No leather seat.

I want to pasang the genuine leather seat like one the supplied by Proton for its executive model. I don't want other brand.

Honesty I'm not smart enough at distinguishing leather seats by its quality. Accessory shop got hundreds of types to choose from. So I prefer to get the same one supplied by Proton to be on safe side.

Any suggestion?

Today I filled the boot to the brim with stuffs. It is times like this that make me appreciate the Persona's gas strut bootlid that does not intrude into the bootspace.

My Persona elegance (Auto) the engine check light is continue to on after i start the car. then when i change the gear from P to D drive, the car jerk. when i press the pedal while driving, the car like not really responsive. It still can move but need to press the pedal more. the rev becomes high. I encountered this problem few month back. went to workshop the mechanic said is throttle body problem. so changed a new throttle body. now only few months the problems come again. is it really throttle body problem?

anyone experience the similar problems?

send to proton sc or some workshop that has tool to read the fault code, no reader we can only blind guessing...
last time i encountered the "D" symbol blinking, also gave harsh jerk when engage to "R" gear. Press pedal i think gear was in limp home mode stuck on 2nd or 3rd gear. It was the speed sensor connector loosen came out from the gearbox area. proton sc just help me to plug back in.

i would advise you get it repair before long outstation trip lor. 1st is safety concern as the usage of signal light, 2nd is you don't know what's wrong with it, gila gila meter panel readings reset before, no lights etc. get it fixed to have peace of mind before long journey.
