Jus sharing. This is how look like when persona using 185/65 conti cc6. Comfort level improve and lesser noise compare to AdvanDB. Circumference increase 1% compared to 195/60. Same tyre size as nissan almera.

That is way so thick, would it feels floating on highway?
I'm using 185/60 on my gen2, didn't feel much difference compare original size 195/55. Maybe time attack indoor roller coaster car park increase a few seconds.

What is head cover? The campro plastic cover for spark plug?
Was using Bosch Fully Syn 5w30, got little oil seepage around the head gasket area, but that is starting since last time using 40 grade

Have u changed ur engine top gasket seal? I just changed mine, 4 years and 140k mileage, foreman say it's very common problem for campro

Feel about the same only just steering less sharp, the ride quality now is better. I'm even thinking to use 175/65 like the current honda city size but i like the thicker the better. My other car I use 195/65.

I'm using syntium 3000 se (5w30) and normal 3000 (5w40).
What I noticed is that the sound of engine if finer when using 40. 30 seems to be more 'powerful' though.

Not much difference in fc. That's solely my opinion nontheless. Alot ppl say 40 is better for protong engine though.
*
The engine sound that better is when low rpm or through out?

I'm using 30 for few years already, notice while high rpm is noisy, but if low is ok. Wonder is use back 40, then drive slow or idle will be as quiet as 30?

Generally I feel using 40 the engine is much quieter low and high rpm.
I would say a lil more quiet than 30 even at idle. Not sure is only me and my placeabo effect or anyone else that tried both oil can give some feedback

Really? that make me wonder want to change back to 40 or not? Worry on the heavy as used to 30 for few years...

Generally, I'm gentle driver, so most of the time can maintain 2k rpm and below as in KL traffic always jam......
Once in the while shoot up when some idiot make me crazy, but very short while only... biggrin.gif
When rpm more than 3k, can tell that 30 is quite thin from the engine sound.... + 30 is slightly more expensive than 40. (I'm referring to Shell HX7 semi)

Am going through the same thing. My mechanic say need to open and check wiring. I have not done so because I just did major service, wallet got big hole already. Will probably get him to check it for my next service.

But for my car, if I press the foglamp button when the lights are off, the dashboard will light up. I do that as a temporary fix.

Generally 30 should be more exp than 40.
Just that now proton SC sells full sync 30 same price with 40 so I gave it a try. More power just that I prefer 40 so I buy my own oils at petronas station when I go first svc

I think there is a reason why in the car manual its stated there recommeded using 10w40. And I have tried before w30 I didnt like it, the engine is noisy when revving and feel harsh, doesnt make much difference in fuel savings too. I only go for w40 nowadays.

I didn't check before at the manual. But fuel savings part it's true. It's hardly noticeable.

SC now only sell 30 oil regardless of full or semi. Unless want to buy 0w40 syntium 7000🤭🤭

Hmm you can try unplugging and plugging back the fuses in the engine bay area. Maybe it's loose.

I suspect is ECU or wiring problem.
