After one month of using,

Now driver door couldn't be opened from outside, I have no idea why.

When rear seats are fully occupied, you can hear some noticeable noise like something is knocking at car boot when driving, my car boot got nothing to cause that sound though...

Ahhh anyone encountered these? Am thinking to go proton sc to check, will they entertain me? 🙁

Hi all,

Been a shy forum reader of this thread on and off for years.

Just want to check if anyone of you have constant knocking code appeared as error code?

My ride is BL MT PE of 2011.
*
what is that?

Few months ago my car ECL lighted up without affecting drivability of car. Everything feels the same.

So upon checking by proton SC it was code P0325, which according to proton code it's Knock Sensor voltage either too low or too high.

Ever since then I have changed twice knock sensor, left my ride in proton for a week to check for harness integrity, and finally ECU a month plus ago.

A month after ECU change, the code came back again. The service advisor that serves me told me they had several PE behaving this way without any substantial way to solve it.

Currently the code did not re-appear after Proton SC unplug my car battery for entire day while they check for potential fault.. So it's like a watchful waiting period that I need to constantly looking out the check engine light to appear.. Not good for my state of mind.

I have Eric's VS and GC in my car, currently it's running without VS, as SC commented that it might be the VS that causes the problem.

Just want to check if any one of here has this problem before, and how you solve it.
*
i think the SC u visit still lack of experience...
my KTM also like this the ECL on after driving in heavy rain to work...
but it did not affect the drive ability and FC...
send back to the dealer that selling my bike also cannot solve...
i drive like this for 1 year...
last month send to this sole dealer who only manage KTM bikes...
change the sensor then its all ok...

she can drive manual... no issue... but since the car now is frequently used apart from being a weekend car previously, just wanna consider if it is cost effective to swap transmissions...
put aside fuel consumption and i dont wanna buy another car... not just yet...
*
i think the cost is same as a cheap car downpayment...
ori setting still the best as u wont upset the car balance...
modifications will induce more problems unexpectedly later on...
the u will be headache wasting time go repair and repair again...

My family have a year 2008 Persona AT. (1st generation i think)
"Knocking sound when cornering on uneven surface coming from Front RHS". Am I eligible to claim for that? Did they come out with a better design/ solution to solve that issue?

I notice that the engine sounds louder when approaching 95km/h or ~2800rpm. Eventually can feel the vibration from engine through the throttle pedal since it was new until now. Is this normal?

Do anyone notice Persona will decelerate faster than other car when you release pedal. Feels like powerless when stop feeding petrol. Is that due to its heavy car body weight or just my wrong thought?
*
same here as mine is 2007 first generation...
knocking sound at front driver side going through uneven surface and cornering...
i know this is due to the steering rack hitting something and can be prevented by wrapping the rack...

for deceleration i never encounter this as mine is 5 speed manual...
coasting at neutral feel like the car is moving at the same speed...

i think persona/gen2 is quite stable at such speed, unless your handling deteriorate due to suspension wear and tear. Having owned older altis 1.8 and current polo sedan, none of it beat the persona/gen2 stability at highway. both of the mentioned cars feel big "pull" when passing big lorry/bus; while my gen2 feels lesser and relatively stable on that.
*
agree... i hv compared my persona to many car...
persona handling is still unbeatable at its class...
my bro altis also not as stable during cornering...
exiting corner will feel understeer while persona can hantam the throttle even exiting corner...

My friend drives a Satria GTi, ori 1.8 block with MIVEC 1.6 head, huge radiator and Emanage tuned. Freaking power is stupendous! 162whp on dyno. I drove it and it was freaking powerful..
*
if like that why not ur friend just get a 4g93 mivec...
at least ori engine can sell than separate out the block and head...

This I can agree, I think I will still keep this car even after buy another one. Upgrade here and there, touch up with new paint or what not  rclxms.gif
*
thumbup.gif same also... maybe i will go heavy modify...
reinforce body by adding all bars, upgrade brakes and suspension...

stock gti is using 4G93 block. 4G93 block with 1.6L Mivec head will create even more power since it become slightly higher compression.
lol.. my friend doing sales job he clock at least 100k km a year.. as he has to run everywhere in msia to deliver goods.
i pakai rev rev punya.. can feel engine no power ady.. go up genting check engine light will come out.  doh.gif
*
100k a year? sure boh?
then he must run 9000km a months which can round peninsular 5 times...
my car just reached its 10th anniversary and now clocked 103000km...

Hey guys. My aircond knob is now acting up. It will keep turn on-off by itself.
I remember a member mention before we can replace / repair it cheaply instead of buying a new aircond console.
Do anyone know about the info? Thanks!
*
my car also same aircond intermittent on off at the lowest speed...
just avoid that gap to open higher speed then it is ok...
