Check thoroughly then only buy.. minor dents/bangs are OK.. If it was rear ended or crashed into something then maybe don't buy.. especially the front since you could run into A/C problems.

i think the car bang into something , coz the front bonnet left side is dented , not sure it's minor accident or .... rclxub.gif . This is the best condition car i have view so far ... except the front bonnet is dented . The mileage is quite low too (45k) , not sure it's tampered or not

Most likely if the engine doesn't sound like it's in a bad condition.

Could be IAFM especially if it's particularly loud. If not it may just be the standard Campro noise (I got that in my previous Persona and current Suprima).

Yes in 2016, my father forgot to secure the radiator cap and got overheated but short trip only. After secure the cap back all running fine.

I see. Thinking to send zordaq nilai 3, today only got time to arrange tow truck.

proton service center screw up my o2 sensor.
when there just to change the rocker cover gasket because oil has been leaking.

he simply take off the o2 sensor without checking it (or telling me) in the first place.
when he tried to put back the 02 sensor, he is struggling there, as all the wiring came out.
then he asked me, do you use the wiring?

so i told him off that was the o2 sensor, before you take it off do u check how was the wiring attached before?
he simply said 'oh i tak perasan tadi'.

he took at least 15mins - 20mins to figure out how to put back the o2 sensor, then out of sudden, he broke the clip (the clip is to hold the wiring).

then he told me my o2 sensor wiring is too short (i change my extractor 4 years back, the sensor is at the bottom, all the while no issue).

when he finally able to put the wiring (use black tape to hold it), after start the engine, 'check engine light' on.

he asked me to change to a longer o2 wiring, and he said it will cost RM 180++, and I have to pay for it. ranting.gif

His mistake but you have to pay for it. That's Proton alright.

hi guys, recently my persona had a leak on the oil pan. I went through workshop they found a crack underneath of the oil pan. Now that part is been glued.

Would like to know can this oil pan be welded? If not, what would be a reasonable price for an oil pan replacement? I ask 2 workshop, 1 quote me for almost 1k while another quote me less than RM500 included labor.

If i do change it, does the engine oil can be re-use?

Proton Edar quote me RM600 for it. Persona Elegance model. Oil sump might differ from yours if you're driving Persona model before elegance.

Mine is oil drain screw hole loose already. Can't do anything except seal it up. Until now also still using it due to economy reason. So i think it's ok one...
