Sv's rear sit is foldable

Beside the headrest towards the door there is a plastic that protrude out (like car cigrste lighter). Pull it can already.
Don't use it if you don't need it. It may get loose and cause ur car to have weird noise.
Yea my car flooded twice at the same door
First time SC for for me. They didn't renew everything just patch it up.
2nd time I went to a shop to renew the butyl tape. 20 bucks. No more leaking

During heavy rain.
Mine happened at the front passenger door.
I check by removing all the plastic myself leaving only the weather shield.
Then I poor water at the window. Let it sip through the windows rubber.
By then you should able to see the leaking spot. If it's due to butyl tape u can do yourself or go to car knocking shop to do

There is just 4 screws to open if i remember correctly.
Of different sizes so make sure u remember which screw is from where.
After the removal of the screw proceed with the opening door plastic (behind black colour one) .
Then u can pull out the whole panel already.
After that u will need to disconnect the power window's switch.
This might be a little tricky.

the other way of checking would be, once ur alarm rang u will go and reset.
when u lock back the door ur signal light will blink and it will give u sound.
This sound will indicate where is the problem

For example 4 blinks is the boot if not mistaken.
Persona boot harder to close properly.
The guard at my workplace always fail to close it properly.

lousy key remote sensitivity sometimes stand beside press 1 minute also cannot lock/unlock

rear boot cover lock not rigid after few force close

rear spoiler paint fade very fast

door lock problem, rear then passenger then driver

driver power window motor broken and repaired my ownself cost rm35

driver door handle broken by puspakom inspector by hard pulling and then rear passenger door handle also broken last year

front left small light bulb burned twice and changed to LED

rear left brake light bulb burned every month

left plate light bulb burned

rear left power window cannot close and need to play until it can move and force close by hand

aircond knob sensitivity problem...

fuel cap broken and welding back cost rm30...

just last month reverse sensor malfunction... need to pull hard the lever to reverse few times only can gear toot sound...

my persona is first batch bought back in oct 2007...
mileage until now is 104XXX...
very seldom drive... per year i drive about 8000km only...
now got new axia i think not hitting 4000km also...
seldom drive also got so much problem...
proton part is not reliable...

I'm using syntium 3000 se (5w30) and normal 3000 (5w40).
What I noticed is that the sound of engine if finer when using 40. 30 seems to be more 'powerful' though.

Not much difference in fc. That's solely my opinion nontheless. Alot ppl say 40 is better for protong engine though.

Anyone here using 30W engine oil got leaky oil from the head cover?

What is head cover? The campro plastic cover for spark plug?
Was using Bosch Fully Syn 5w30, got little oil seepage around the head gasket area, but that is starting since last time using 40 grade

I didn't check before at the manual. But fuel savings part it's true. It's hardly noticeable.

SC now only sell 30 oil regardless of full or semi. Unless want to buy 0w40 syntium 7000🤭🤭

Never try before. I still using 5w40 syntium .

i'm using Dynolube fully synthetic 5w40, bought at Tesco too 

how much you changed your gasket? mine suspect oil leak from gasket too, got strong burn smell. after change need replace new engine oil?

Check the brake rotor is it uneven..
