No stock in tekseng la. Was in my watchlist. But sharing this with the main concern about manufacturing sector in Penang. Seems like the retrenchment happened quite often already in other MNC as well

err... like this ar.

If I have to guess, my guessing is that some of these MNCs over extended themselves over the years (many thanks to all them helicopter money)... and now they realise that they have a few factories too many some where on the other side of the planet.

it's like the same like some of our businesses. for example, say Oldtown.
Here buka branch there buka....
then few months later... here tutup, there tutup....
no see b4 meh?

haiyaaaa....
so tekseng can trade one meh?

somehow...
I cannot brain businesses involving solar power in our country....
maybe i am not brain enuf

Why can't people just give opinions and have discussions knowing that everyone has different opinions and not everyone will agree with everyone else? There is no need to proove one is better than the other. Just post if you got something to share or don't post if you've got nothing to share. I'm sure everyone here is more mature than a bunch of teenagers.

Is the result of LBALUM yesterday considered good? I see the stock price has gone down a little today even though the result showed a profit. Or aluminium stocks are not favourable at the moment?

I am guilty.

The point of the steel play is...
honestly... the rally was too fast too furious.
Which clearly made the weariness of the stocks enduring consolidation....
see... I did not need any indicators to tell me that.
the run up was parabolic-like for the few leading stocks...
hence... weakness was to be expected...

Ah... Good point on LBAlum.
This was spotted few months back by cool dude. smile.gif
Yes, if you ask me, I am positive about the stocks or 'metal stocks' in general.
In fact, i reckon the market hasn't really got up with its good performances ..... yet.
If you refer yesterday, ARank had a nice run too... yes?
why? good results/aluminium related too..... rolleyes.gif

*part of knowing how to play happy family, yes?

or how about the tin related products?

ps: I can talk about stocks anytime laaaa....
but sometimes...
whenever I talk ...
people think I am giving tips instead.... doh.gif
LOL!

anytime...... if you want to talk...... thumbup.gif

We are all guilty. Its what we do about it that counts...

Just share your opinions. If someone takes it as a tip and go buys it and prices come down and they make a loss, it is not your fault as you did not give a tip in the first place. So its not your problem. If I tell you I found a super duper knife that can cut through bones like it was butter and you go buy it to kill someone, is it my fault? Like that nobody can talk about anything. So get over that kind of thinking. I think half the time here when we all say tips etc, mostly we are joking only. Everyone is eventually responsible for their own decision, profit or loss.

ARANK is also down today. LBALUM is ex-date divident today. But its down more than the 2 sen divident. Maybe people selling due to long upcoming weekend.
