QUOTE(TitanRev @ Dec 1 2015, 08:48 PM) That's kinda more rust than I expected. Try to ask Sc for replacement under warranty. How old is UR car and u wash engine bay a lot? drive thru puddles alot. maybe this is what causing the kok noise i got many times? almost 3 years, lately no, too much hassle to wash. way back then, yes replace the front absorbers? maybe go full adjustables This post has been edited by athrunzaru: Dec 1 2015, 09:13 PM

QUOTE(homosapient @ Dec 1 2015, 07:06 PM) I just call sc n the guy told me most probably the ECU Kong. Update us if you got any news on that. Still my major concern is whether did your jump start causing the damage. If indeed the wrong pole jumpstart causing the damage, the total repair cost will be beyond the car value as many of your auxiliary equipment will be damaged at the same time.

QUOTE(homosapient @ Dec 2 2015, 11:57 AM) Hi Bro, Just called the SC and they confirmed the TCU faulty . need to change. where can get a second hand TCU ? Please consult ckdenion as he got very good experience and got assisted by a very qualified SC on his engine+transmission issue at very decent price. The best part is, that SC helped him to reflash the wonky ECU and make the originally "damaged" ECU come back to life. Wonder whether can they do the same with your faulty TCU.

If indeed the wrong pole jumpstart causing the damage, the total repair cost will be beyond the car value as many of your auxiliary equipment will be damaged at the same time. Bumped into one of the Proton service center technician today during mamak-ing. SO I go ask about this issue. Apparently, according to him, Proton cars with Punch CVT CANNOT be jump started in the event of a flat battery. So regardless of right pole, wrong pole, north pole, south pole, sausage pole, once jumpstart, byee bye. TCU goreng. This is why Proton removed the jumper cable from the Saga accessories list in 2012. (2011 batch cars will notice their car comes together with jumper cable but 2012 onwards the cables were missing). SO pretty much explains the fried TCU. This post has been edited by V12Kompressor: Dec 3 2015, 10:12 AM

The worst should be the TCU and TCU won't really cost a bomb right ? It's only the electronic circuit that's damaged. I have two jumper cable in my boot. If this is seriously true, then I should take it out before I forget about this and use it.

I had jumpstart it before. a month ago but weirdly i tried jumpstart from a an old mercedes benz but cannot. then tried my old kelisa able to start. after that ok only.
