What happened to your XM2?

I had just changed my rim and tyre together few days ago, Taiwan replica Enkei RPF1 + Bridgestone Potenza RE003 195/50R15

Nothing happen, just i hate XM2 since 1st day i installed.

Harsh & noisy ride, extraordinary (idiotic) thread-wear. The tyre will get harden and you will get extremely poor grip after 40k usage in both dry and wet condition although the thread still left alot.

XM2 absolutely not worth the price, is over-hype/overrated i would say. So i just change again to CC5 as i prefer quiet and comfort ride, i used these tyres before the XM2.

Wah you had different experience on XM2, I was planning to try out XM2 after I finished this Potenza.

Previously I had using stock M3 and was really lost of grip after the thread going below half, slipped few times and one time crashed my headlights.

This Potenza did had very great dry and wet grip and also response, noise level was average, not a low noise tyre.

No doubt stock M3 is the worst tyre ever used. But don't waste your time for XM2, 15" tyre plenty of choices out there.

Don't expect high threadwear rating tyre can give you good grip and silent performance (in this case, XM2 is 420, highest i ever see), these two are the worst aspect of good threadwear tyre. (although threadwear rating is actually not sound as easy as that and not really can compare 2 different manufacturer easily)

Hi

Long time not posting here. How are u?

My flx is STILL standard like before. Done 55k on odo. No major problem so far.

Few weeks ago, i ve change tyre. Now all put on same shoe; silberston kruizer ns7ratus. Nothing to say about it. Just it a little bit quiter than cursing little synergy m5. Done the alignment too.

Finally my turn for IAFM replacement after 160k+ mileage. The butterfly flap inside the manifold module emit gikgakgikgak noise rather than the famous tak tak tak.

Mine broken once. I just go to locksmith to change. Reflash it into new key and good to go.
