I'm looking for a new home - preferably a place where it is nonflood - heard the floods were terrible. I know certain area setia alam were affected as well. Anyone can share which part is non-affected.

But with the on-going process of deepening all the water retention ponds in Setia Alam and fixing the road water outlet into the water retention pond, I think the next flood won't be that bad anymore. I'm really glad the effort is quite massive and has been going since late 2022. During the most recent rainy season, water on the roads can been seen subsiding into the pond much faster now and by early noon no water is seen on the road if it rain the entire night before.

Well around RM700-800k , Well i prefer non place - someone told that setia impian area and KFC pizza area all effected.

Anjung sari area looks high enough and safe. Setia permai also looks ok, but unsure - hope someone here can shed some light on this.

Setia Permai 1,2 and 3 are safe from flood even during the heavy rain that flooded sri muda

Good thing is there are few roads to drive around and convenience store nearby

I think the Permai(s) & Setia Indah fits both price and flood free. The rest are well above the 800K including the newer Bywaters.

Setia Indah is flood-free?

Water on the road yes but didn't until enter car porch which I think also due to that unusual amount of water during that flood. My SIL stays in Indah 12. But towards the side of retention big pond next to current Musika site, that portion of Indah probably is affected. But that retention pond recently being digged deeper while they were doing the foundation for Musika.

Saw an older Toyota Vios totalled at the traffic light in front of Shell Setia Indah. Kena banged from behind by a sand carrying lorry. Does look like the lorry going downhill either didn't stop on red light or the car coming from the Shell section went out when it's not green light. Looks the former is more likely. Just be careful at this part as it's a downhill and most people drove down fast without caring about the traffic light. Driver is a kwailo.

Used to have a unit in Impian 2. Bought for RM205K in 2005, end lot unit. Sold back to developer for RM235K in 2007. That area all got sinking issue. Many sold back to developer.

SP setia done lots of digging works to deepen the drainage storage. Situation seems improved alot.
