yeah, I had some luck getting 100ms with some other korean sites. There's only two methods:

1. Wait for TM to improve its peering(nothing you can do about it)
2. Try a lot of VPN and hopefully one of it has good peering between you <-> vpn <-> that korean website (something that you can do but it may cost you a bit and it may take quite some tries to get one that works for your case)
*
1. Complaining to them won't help?
2. I do have two VPNs (free and paid) but I'll give them a try to see whether they would decrease.

1. may but mostly no, if yes we would have better speeds already laugh.gif
2. choose some servers that are near to MY, and see if the ping gets lower

Happy New Year 2016 All!

After some testing done. I can confirm that iflix can only recognize u're unifi subscriber if u r using TM's dns server 1.9.1.9 and 202.188.0.133. Google dns 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 can also be used.

Prior to this I have Smarty dns configured on my router to watch netflix and iflix doesn't recognize me as unifi subscriber. So i tried to change back to auto dns or google dns and voila it's working. So anyone who tried to get free iflix and failed to be recognize as unifi subscriber please check your dns settings at your router confiq!

Perhaps those who still cannot get it, try getting another IP range.

It doesn't seems like IP range problem to me. I was able to access iflix with opendns but not with verisign dns.

i think it is device specific.

i tried all you mentioned, does not work on my android box.

it works easy on the ipad with 8.8.8.8, 1.9.1.9 and guess the rest too.

will be useful if thsoe who tried can mention it works or not on what device.

Hi guys, upgraded to the new unifi 30 mbps package.

My laptop's able to detect the speed no problem, but my desktop with a USB network adapter can only get a miserable 5mb ( i tried with cables and it's back to 30 suprisingly + I'm using a TP link Archer T4U capable to up to AC1200 ) so it kinda baffles me why I am on such issues.

Any pointer to help with this?

Had the same issue with my USB to rj45 connector (with rd9700 chipset) which has a 5mbps speed cap. You should check the specs of your USB network adapter.

try to clear your cache/reboot because probably the requests are still cached.

Check the wireless throughput. Right click the network icon and status.

on top of what blacktubi has said, wireless is wireless, wired is wired. and like what leo2010 has said, I believe that your usb network adapter's chipset is a poor one that's why you can't get much out of it.

Did you use any ad blocking plugin such as Adblock Plus or something? Maybe temporary disable it and restart your browser then try again?

now ok already... iflix can play...

restart router first... then go to private mode on chrome, suddenly keluar tm with iflix...

then go normal chrome, still got need to subscribe, then just type play.iflix.com, it ok already....
