QUOTE(ncool15 @ Nov 30 2015, 08:09 PM) Between Nano/Mini shouldnt have any differemce besides the size right? Guess i'll go for it. If it doesnt work as i expected, might just sell it. Haha. Thanks for the feedback. I'm thinking of getting one also. I believe the Nano is Wifi-N while the Mini is AC. And Nano is 2.4GHz only right? Can someone confirm that both LAN ports on the Mini is 100mbit and not Gigabit?

Not sure about the naming because I'm accustomed with the chinese name, but the AC has gbit ports, while the 802.11n that one has 100mbps only. http://www.mi.com/miwifimini/param/ - 802.11ac. 1gbit http://www.mi.com/miwifilite/specs/ - 802.11n, 100mbps

visited to TM Point yesterday to ask for my current VIP20 package promotion option available. Surprisingly, they told me that I can actually "Upgrade" to Unifi30, with paying less RM50, but with much less upload speed, i opt not to take it yet
asked them on the Unifi50 package, they told me that TM has temporary stop selling this plan, as they found some issue with this package and still doing fine tuning, until further notice.
end up, i get an offer to reduce RM10 from my current VIP20 plan from RM229 to RM219

QUOTE(pokju @ Nov 30 2015, 11:53 PM) Hello all. Need some advice. Landed house. Setup called ftth? Fiber to box > box to small converter fibre inside house > fiber to modem > router? High rise building. Setup called vdsl2? Fiber to mdf > copper to floor level > copper to modem > router? Correct? For vdsl2, is it possible, or is it got any modem+router+wireless all in one box since mdf to home using copper? Converter fiber to copper is done at mdf already rite? I never seen a combo vdsl2 modem+wireless router Malaysia. I think they are using mac address pairing right. So its likely not possible to just change... I also came across huawei combo fibre btu+wireless router at aliexpress before and interested to buy but scared tm don't allow it... Dunno if we can ask the tm technician to register the mac address for us to their system...

QUOTE(vknight @ Dec 1 2015, 02:06 PM) The Motorola deck phone doesnt last more than a day on standy if not plugged to power. Is it normal? Thanks Depends how long you use it(just like your handphone) and battery age. They dont give warranty on battery, so as long as your phone works, you can't exchange it. Only choice get new battery on your own or buy new phone from them for rm7x.

If you turn off the power for the base, of course the battery will be exhausted very fast because the phone keep searching for signal from base.
