They'll need to leave a card there to inform the recipient that they have tried delivering the item to him. Isn't it? But you could be right, maybe the sender didn't send so it's not Skynet's fault.

It's different, a high dpi mouse doesn't require you to move your mouse across the mouse pad to frag your enemies on the screen. I'm using Razer Krait for my GRAW, just a slight movement will do, adjusting the sensitivity at windows or the game is not the same as using a gaming mouse because it you put the sensitivity too high, the mouse point wouldn't go across the screen smoothly. A high dpi mouse is different, it's responsive and highly accurate.

Hi Bro,
I'm using Krait too for my gaming sessions, it's good what. Anything wrong with it? You're not used to its sensitivity, ar? Razer Krait is a good buy and even though, I have Razer Copperhead (birthday gift), I'm still using Razer Krait first. To me, it's a pretty good gaming mice, it takes a while to getting used to it. Trust me, it's better than most mouse with the same DPI as it. QUOTE(FoxSeaTiger @ Nov 29 2006, 10:24 AM) |

I dunno la Bro, I love my Krait very much, maybe you abuse it gua, that's why the button got problem. Many people is happy with Krait even though it's the cheapest one from Razer. If it's under warranty, send it for repair lor if indeed there's something wrong with the buttons.

the krait has a good sensor, same as the diamondback.
the only thing i dont like about the krait is the small size and lack of side buttons. |

Well, yeah, you're right about it but I'm fine with it. For Diamondback, it's a bit overpriced, for that price, I'll rather go for Copperhead as the difference is not too great. The one my colleagues bought for my birthday was priced around RM225 and it's a plasma red colour. I guess Diamondback is almost RM190, right? I'm not sure about the latest pricing but if the gap is not that wide, it's better to go for Copperhead. For Krait, since it's only around RM100, I shouldn't complain, it's a better buy than most Microsoft and Logitech 1600 dpi mouse.

It's better to install the official Razer drivers as the configurations are more accurate as it corresponds with your mouse perfectly.

A bit dissapointed, tot can see HABU but not even a sight of it.. They selling CH for RM215 which i think it's a reasonable price since bulk selling 195 and 225. But they sell Tarantula n Barracuda more than bulk.. |

everdying, i tot gaming mouse must be wired because of the always-on function...wireless must power down in order to save power mah...elsee won't last long...that's why razer's mouse are always on for immediate response...
correct me if i'm wrong... |

yea but the G7 proved that you can have a real wireless gaming mouse.
forget the old MX700 or even MX1000 cos those cannot compete. |

QUOTE(sunauto @ Dec 2 2006, 12:36 PM) if you've ever checked out the G7, it comes with a spare battery.has battery indicator also on the mouse. full charge, can last 2 1/2 days with regular gaming, when almost empty just pop in the extra battery. plus its not heavy. thats why got razer armadillo, which is still better than those mouse bungees. one point of it is to make your wired mouse attempt to feel like a wireless. i'm using one now, and can feel the difference, but its still not a fully wireless feel. i say what i know works.
its also one of the tips given by razer fans. you're free to TRY to fit in a microfibre cloth into the little slot. |

Chill Bro, not trying to offend you lah, the tip of the cotton bud is a bit harsh, might scratch the sensor, that's my concern only but with microfibre cloth, with the help of a cotton bud, it will be much better. You're taking about a Razer here, not a pasar malam mouse so extra care is needed.

the sensor cleanliness also has to do with the pad you're using.
weird but true, users of exactmat have complained that dust gets on their copperhead/diamondback sensor very fast. i also used exactmat before and had the same prob. guess it applies to all hard pads. now i using the everglide titan, havent had to clean my sensor in the last 9 months. |

Seems like my pc table is the best, never cleaned the sensor until now, it's still clean, guess I can save the money on those mouse pads.

currently copperhead cannot assign the play/pause button.
the option is there in the key options, but its grayed out cos the driver doesnt support yet. wait for future drivers, or use a habu and flash to copperhead firmware |

looking at roughly 4"x 4" with just the razer snake logo on it only, and on that pvc material. maybe 50 pieces, see how much. |

Well, it is optimized for RTS games but if it works for RTS games, it will be chicken feet for FPS games lah.
I'm using Krait for my GRAW and Battlefield 2142 online gaming sessions. Hehehe. It works like a charm. QUOTE(pengster @ Dec 9 2006, 09:00 PM) |

Hi all razer fans, I am interested in moving from Logitech to Razer product. I would like to know will the copperhead be very warm after using it for a long time? As I see there are LEDs around the mouse and I know that it emits heat.

but it is always cheaper than X-Fi elitepro , i think is RM700 and below is reasonable(bulk) cause the headphone they are selling is more expensive than ours , so i think the soundcard will do the same , hehehe
US HP-01 gaming headphones - RM435.66(114.95 * 3.79) AC-1 Sound card - RM716.31(189.95 * 3.79) Malaysia headphones - RM368( malaysia is cheaper than the US by RM67 ) soundcard - would less than RM700 (this would be the same for the card) so what i have to say its to wait it drp down the price or PROMOTIONS This post has been edited by warlove3: Dec 15 2006, 06:24 PM |

Razer-ed List thanks dude...QUOTE(z3r0717 @ Dec 15 2006, 02:52 PM) haha.. wat a funny question. no offense though.. Wat i like bout CH is, u don't have to press the tip of the mouse in order for it to click. For example, i can use the middle of my FINGER(not middle finger ar) and click alr.. very nice.. hope u understand wat i mean haha... i bought CH cuz my fingers and whole hand fit nicely... and the side buttons are right under my thumb and my 4rd finger... Was actually going for Krait but 2 small... |

Copperheads are laser... @darude, the optical sensor is better than laser. razer's new 3rd gen optical IR sensor is coming out soon on the deathadder. think razer has abandoned laser sensors i use the copperhead not cos of the laser sensor, but cos i like the design more than the diamondback. btw, there are quite a few ppl who transfer the copperhead shell to the diamondback sensor. |

Hey, i didn't read the whole thread. Just dropping in to ask if anyone knows where to get Habu?
I used to have IntelliMouse Explorer...very comfortable. When it starts falling apart, bought MX518. Didn't like the grip...so sold it and bought Krait. That mouse is too small, too light and no extra button. Otherwise, it would have been really good. Not sure if Copperhead is comfortable enough though...the height, length and width (although it has extra buttons...with 2 on both sides...meaning 2 on the right are pretty useless). So...looking for Habu now, since it combines the best in comfort (IntelliMouse design with good side buttons that I loved, weight and grip + Razer BIG HUGE buttons that has that OOMPH when you clicked them). Yesterday i went to Digital One and to my surprise there was a store that carries Razer products. I almost bought a CH from them but then the sales assistant told me that Razer mouses has only 1 year warranty. As far as i know, they have 2 years warranty.

everglide gamingmat, or bigger the monstermat. btw, viper is same size as krait...but the viper sensor is not suited for low sens play. if you move the mouse very fast the cursor skips like mad. |

dpi - dot per inch is not related to frequency, but i think for scanning purpose (mouse sensitivity i think). But OC mean adjusting/increasing its stock frequncy/speed (-in Hz) like wat we do on our CPU and GPU. Correct me if i m wrong

well, if anyone interested, i selling off my exactmats and matpak.
http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=386195 btw, STICKERS. i have two options, both also going to be about RM4-5 each for 3" x 3". for the green 3 head snake design. one is the normal green on black, inkjet print on vinyl paper. another is i dunno what method, but similar to vinyl paper also. he said he draw and cutout, how i dunno cos never ask properly. but this one can do just the green 3 head snake, transparent background. i prefer with transparent background, so later i go do about 5 pieces and see how it turns out. Yeah, only orange but it looks nice at night. I'm using one myself for my old rig and another spare in my office. On the other hand, I'm using Copperhead for my gaming rig. Yeah, all Razer mouse, I guess I can't live without a Razer mouse.

the razer headset, best you go try it first.
they claim big earcups, yea big if you're a midget. also the cord length if not mistaken is only 60cm, pathetic if you're used to others with lengths of 1.5m or so. another thing is the headset MUST be powered by USB. makes me wonder if the ppl working at razer are really 4ft tall and weigh 30kg or something...big midget earcups, 60cm cord length...wtf... for the 2nd one, everything green you see is the sticky part. there is nothing in between or around it. the 1st one, same...nothing at all around it. ie. for both its just the outlines only, just how i want it. and yea, you can say there was alot of wasted green sticky stuff This post has been edited by Everdying: Jan 6 2007, 11:18 PM |

actually no need for bulk...theres no minimum order.
but of cos i dont want to keep going back and forth everytime. so maybe for now, if got every 10 orders then i go, and takes about 2-3 days for them to do. just let me know how many of each you want. will be something like RM8-9 for the 1st one, and RM5 for the 2nd one cos its 4"x4". i asked them to do a 3"x3" sample just to see if the snake tongue loses detail, that one will of cos be cheaper if it can be done properly. but looking at the 4" one, the size actually looks just right. |

It's the Razer Boomslang Collector's Edition. Not sure if it'll be widely available since it's CE. Don't know if it uses optical or laser though.
You don't like the design, but there's a reason why it's legendary. One of the reason is the ergonomical fit for people with large palms. |

hmm, i see they resurrected the boomslang CE after more than a yr of ppl wondering what happened.
also you wont be able to buy it at shops. plans before was to only sell it to invited ppl, and IIRC at a price of USD199. also was supposed to have a titanium shell or something similar. |

repost in this thread as I'm not getting a response in the other thread :s
one question regarding gaming mouse here. my laptop USB is screwed up. sometimes it detects USB device but most of the time now, it cannot detect devices connected to it. so the question is.. if i buy a USB gaming mouse (Razer for example) and use a P/S2 converter to plug into the P/S2 hole, would it still be the same as using USB port to connect? another question, is there any P/S2 gaming mouse available in the market? thanks guys |

I doubt it'll be the same, as the USB has better speed over the PS/2... I suspect that the razer configurator might not detect the mouse either...

all current razer mouses will not work with a ps/2 adapter.

This just in from Razerblueprints.net. Seems like Deathadder is a revamp of Habu...physically. Still, looks way better than Habu but with supposedly "inferior" engine. Then again, the laser technology in Habu aren't that impressive since it caused a lot of malfunction (refer to Razerblueprints.net's forum) even though it is the same as Copperhead's. Waiting not-so-patiently for DA...

QUOTE(Everdying @ Jan 6 2007, 11:28 PM) actually no need for bulk...theres no minimum order. the 2nd one one got UV?..hehe i got interested..... to stick at my rig there... razer krait got free one..n it doesn't really match with my rig ....but of cos i dont want to keep going back and forth everytime. so maybe for now, if got every 10 orders then i go, and takes about 2-3 days for them to do. just let me know how many of each you want. will be something like RM8-9 for the 1st one, and RM5 for the 2nd one cos its 4"x4". i asked them to do a 3"x3" sample just to see if the snake tongue loses detail, that one will of cos be cheaper if it can be done properly. but looking at the 4" one, the size actually looks just right. |

QUOTE(deric88 @ Jan 9 2007, 10:58 PM) no.Razer Diamondback and Logitech MX518 are using the exact same sensor, Agilent ADNS-3080, which of cos is made by Agilent. Razer Copperhead and Logitech G5 also using exact same sensor, Agilent ADNS-6010. interestingly, the A4tech X7 also uses this same sensor. you may say, ones Razer ones Logitech to explain the difference... but that doesnt explain the difference between Krait and Diamondback, cos both also use the same sensor. Hey, just got news from The Software Boutique in SS2, PJ. They have confirmed from Ban Leong Technologies that Razer Deathadder and Microsoft Habu would be available at the end of January.
What they mean by available is yet to be known. Is it available to vendors? Or to the masses? TSB cannot confirm that though. Wait is amost over people!!! |

May I know the address of Ban Leong in SS2? or a specific location where it is?
My copperhead rubber-coated buttons there got scratched by the usb cable when i put it in my bag last time. It's quite annoying when clicking it. The rubber buttons are like a skin getting peeled off. This kind of problem can RMA or not? I'm thinking of buying the copperhead pro tools kit but it voids warranty and i just want to replace the rubber-coated buttons, not the whole upper casing. (the casing very ugly |

alot of forumers go there for a better bargain its at the bottom of the INDEX page (near bottom though) do some reading and searching around and u could find Razer threads where forumers are selling Razer products for great prices |

Hi guys, a little advice here,
for all those wanting to do RMA, I'll suggest you to look for your seller and ask them if your problem can be RMA-ed or not. Then, after that they should be able to advice you from there. Usually technical problems within the mouse should be no prob to RMA but for outer body cases, quite hard to get it RMA. I also like to take this opportunity to express my greatest gratitude to all my Razer clients and thank you for all your support. I'll continue to do my best .. Thank you. |

ezinger...
whats with that razer pic you posted? that has nothing to do with the AC-1, rather it shows the HP-1 and Copperhead. AC-1 is the soundcard, and the last i checked about 1 month ago, the distributors Ban Leong still had no plans on bringing it in cos too expensive. aarondotcom, i thought ALLIT closes at 7? QUOTE(calvinfc @ Jan 18 2007, 03:30 PM) you guys should actually wait for the actual release of the product in Malaysia before believing on the pricing. But for those planning their budget, allocate around RM 200, coz it won't be more expensive than the Copperhead. |

ezinger :: I'll add you into the waiting list. Anyone else wants the AC-1 can let me know. I'll update my thread once I get the pricing for it.
As for the DeathAdder, yes it's in stock at supplier's place now. So, any1 wants it, I can order then COD or courier it to you. Review for it, mayb soon will be made available, but for local ones, I'm waiting for HWM, Max-IT and PC.com to do a review too. As for those with diamondback probs, mind to elaborate ? Coz I'm using the Acid Green Diamondback and so far, after quite a number of kissing act with the floor, I find it still functioning like new. Not yet gone crazy. Compare it with my Logitech MX100/300 previously, dropped only less than 10 times, the thing starts to go crazy, the pointer can jump from 1 end of the screen to the other end. Cannot stand then bought the Diamondback, never regret at all. |

I already have a Soundblaster X-Fi...of which, I think is way better than AC-1...no offense the HP-1 being a 'gaming' headset apparently has certain frequencies for gunshots, footsteps etc optimized.translation - strong mids, weak bass. also it probably gives good positional audio, but i believe even a decent logitech gaming headset can do it well enough with a good soundcard. and even if you have excellent positional audio, what it always comes down to in the end is how fast and accurate you can shoot. the HP-1 not sure on the drivers in it, but i read that it has a 'wall sound hack' feature, in that you can hear objects behind walls etc as if the wall wasnt there. for me tho, the cons of the HP-1 really weighs it down. 1. 60cm short cord. 2. must be USB powered. 3. it claims it has big earcups, yea if you're a midget. 4. of cos then, theres the issue of razer's infamous drivers. i cant really see anyone except for the midget bedroom gamer using these headsets. |

So far, I am very satisfied with my DeathAdder. My Krait was good but it's small form factor and the lack of additional buttons made it less than desirable.
The very 1st mouse I bought was the MS Intellimouse Explorer...a legend on its own. After years of usage, I decided to change to a new mouse despite the MSIE being still usable...hence, I bought the Logitech MX518. Big mistake it was. Everyone was talking about it's sensitivity, response and ergonomics...but I found the mouse to be very uncomfortable for long usage. I ditched it for the Krait. Another mistake as I mentioned up there. I settled for a normal MS Comfort Optical Mouse 3000. Was good and responsive, but I hated the 4 way scroll that hampers the 3rd button, no detents and the awkwardly placed 4th mouse button. I almost bought the newly released legend MSIE 3.0 but when I saw the news of DeathAdder and Habu coming out...I had to wait. So I chose DeathAdder rather than Habu (since people in Razerblueprints.net raised so much issues about the Habu) and I am very glad I did. I won't talk about how fast and responsive it is since I haven't used it to play FPS, RPG, RTS or any other games for that matter. I need comfort for long usage of AutoCAD, 3dsmax, Photoshop, etc. Do you like the feel of the material used for the buttons of the Copperhead, Diamondback and Krait? I loved them. And guess what? The DeathAdder has it all over its top body. Talk about being spoilt witth too much TLC!!! From the first touch of taking the mouse out of the box, the love was already there. Oh, the blue glow of the scroll and Razer logo can be adjusted from the driver...and the Razer logo fades in and out...talk about cool factor. The 2 main buttons still have the same OOOMMPH found in Copperhead, Diamondback and Krait. The side buttons are big and well placed...much like the way I loved them from the original MSIE. The overall ergonomics fit like a charm in my hand...much like the MSIE did. The texture of the material enhanced the usage...particularly if you are using it for long hours. There is no way to adjust the sensitivity on the fly though...unless you assigned the 4th and 5th additional buttons to do that. In Copperhead, you could use the 6th and 7th buttons that were awkwardly placed to do that...but not in DeathAdder. This may not be a good sign for some prospective buyers out there. For me, I don't need to change the sensitivity on the fly, so I'm all good. The only qualm so far is the time needed for the mouse to respond everytime you apply a setting on the software. Overall, this mouse is a real good buy for me. Love it from the first touch, and I'm going to give it some TLC by buying the ExactMat. My brother has been using his Copperhead on the ExactMat and loved it to death (literally...since the ExactMat was broken in a weird accident). ***I ordered my DeathAdder from jy14 at RM195 along with the ExactMat for my brother but the ExactMat seems to be out of stock. Guess I'll be buying from the retail. jy14 is a commendable seller; one worth recommending |

glad you liked the deathadder, but im perfectly happy with my copperhead.
btw, i just scrapped of all the rubber coating on the two buttons, now feels much better. this is also why i dont feel like the deathadder, cos the whole body and buttons are one, and coated in the same material. i'm still waiting for a supposedly wireless mouse from razer. as for your on-the-fly adjustment, guess you're too used to the krait. you can actually re-asign the on-the-fly to whichever button you want to. mine is on the left side button furthest away. |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Jan 19 2007, 05:13 PM) i've tried the barracuda. independent statement or review dosent just justify the barracuda [:for me a good comfortable earcup, the hollowed out section will go around your ear... and not have any part of the cushion pressing against your ear. it still might be comfortable, but the issue of any part of that cushion pressing...well...not for me. thats why for gaming previously i used philips headphones, they have very big earcups. and yea, i'm not the only one i know who prefers using philips headphones for gaming due to the bigger earcups. anyway, something bigger and more comfortable? i would say this, tho its not available here. http://www.steelseries.com/products/steel_..._v2/information btw, heres a review from another long-time razer fan from razerblueprints...who also doesnt like it. http://ariekanarie.nl/wordpress/archives/48 im a 6footer which definitely doesnt make me a midget(no offence) and it fits perfectly covering my ears. to my pov, philips audio is concentrated on music. to my limited knowledge, barracuda is the only gaming headphones with 4 audio jacks and has a HD-DAI input aka DVI connecter and uses more power than any other earphone. but i guess pillows and cushions matter to you more [: p/s: iv got death adder. anyone wants a review? =P |

I would like to know...
Do Death adder feels as warm as krait? Do it have a bigger dimension then krait? krait only manage to cover 3/4 of my whole palm. Which mousepad is said to be best to work best with it? Using krait + func 1030 right now. |

QUOTE(Sky.Live @ Jan 20 2007, 01:40 PM) I would like to know... Well, the answer to your first question I'll leave it to the DeathAdder proud owners. I'm sure you'll have to wait for them to 'wake-up' from the hang-over after using the mouse. haha. Just joking. Advertisement oni. heheDo Death adder feels as warm as krait? Do it have a bigger dimension then krait? krait only manage to cover 3/4 of my whole palm. Which mousepad is said to be best to work best with it? Using krait + func 1030 right now. As for your other question, The suitable mousepad to be working with the Razer mouse would be of coz the Razer mousepad, like the eXactMat or Mantis. So, depending on the type of usage, each mat will cater to your different games. But, just to inform you guys, the eXactMat is currently out of stock at supplier's place. Usually it'll take about 2 weeks for new stocks to come in, or mayb they might have ordered it earlier when they noticed the stock volume was low and it might arrive earlier than 2 weeks. Whichever it is, I'll keep you guys updated on it and once the stock arrives, any1 like to own 1 can just PM me to get, or mayb look out for it in LYP or other retail centers. |

I would advice all those who r doubtful or interested in the Barracuda, please visit the upcoming PC Fair to test the size and quality of the Barracuda. I'll request the supplier to properly setup the earphone but I think it would not be connected to the AC-1 coz it might not make it to our shores so soon. After receiving some request for the AC-1, I'll put in some request for it's arrival to Malaysia and once it's in stock, as usual, I'll inform you guys. If any1 else knows where else that we can test the Barracuda, kindly inform us or post some address would be helpful too. |

QUOTE Do Death adder feels as warm as krait? Do it have a bigger dimension then krait? krait only manage to cover 3/4 of my whole palm. Feel as warm? No idea. I could not fully put my palm on the Krait. Just like you, there is always a gap between my palm and the mouse, hence, there is good ventilation to reduce heat transfer...not that I noticed though. As for DeathAdder, the size is indeed bigger and fit like a charm for me. I'll say 90% of my palm gets a proper rest on it whereas the Krait could only managed less than 70%. The downside though, like most mouse out there, DeathAdder does not have an extruded butt. If only the butt - the area on the glowing/fade-in-&-out logo - is a little bit higher. Heat transfer? Not that I notice...maybe I produced too much heat to actually notice there is some coming from the mouse... For your info, the DeathAdder is ergonomically shaped like Microsoft IntelliExplorer or Microsoft Habu. From my opinion, it has better comfort than Copperhead, but that's just my 2. I grew up with the MSIE, so I guess I find DeathAdder the perfect solution for my mousing ecstasy. If you want a really good fit for your big palm, try finding someone who sells Razer Boomslang... |

I was with my friend (elfen) in PJ today, watched him COD the Deathadder from jy14, and then went back his house to test the mouse. Here's a short review after approximately 1-2 hour of usage, both in casual desktop usage and gaming:
Before starting out I can say that I'm pretty much a performance-based mice lover, and performance DOES matter to me a lot, as I consider myself a serious competitive CS player. And so far I have used many mice before, starting from the MX300, MX518, Logitech G3, Razer Diamondback, Copperhead, Krait, MSIE 1.1, the MSIE 3.0 (current), and lots of shit mice that doesn't worth mentioning (eg ms laser 6000). So for the casual consumers, my comments may not make sense to you or it probably doesnt matter to you Opening up the box, the Razer Deathadder feels very nice at the first touch, rubberized upper body coating like the ones on the previous Razer buttons, and a hard-plastic lower body. I immediately feel the need to use this delicate mouse VERY CAREFULLY, as the rubber coating feels like it might tear or damage by the smallest means of damage. The shape of it is almost identical to the MSIE 3.0, just a teeny weeny bit shorter in comparison. The two left and right clicks aren't as soft and easily clickable like the Copperhead, but it's close. Easily clickable buttons actually present a problem to me sometimes as when I flick my mouse quickly to aim at someone from the side, I MIGHT accidentally click the right click and I start to install the silencer on my M4, and die (in game of course). However, the two buttons at the side are REALLY solid and clicking it feels so good. Comparing the side buttons, the MSIE 3.0 side buttons are really loose and doesn't feel as good, doesnt feel as clicky. After installation, I loaded up the driver software and well, it was the usual Razer-like interface, so I won't go on about it too much. The DPI offered is a bit weird though, instead of the usual 400-800-1600, it gives 450-900-1800. High DPI doesnt appeal to me at all. I use 400dpi for gaming Starting up CS 1.6, I tried flicks in game and deathmatches to get a feel for the mouse. The mouse was used on an Everglide DKT pad surface. This is where the magic comes in. FYI I use a VERY low sensitivity in CS, 400dpi/windows sens default 6/sensitivity 1.15. That means I have to do two full flicks across my QCK+ mousepad (approx 40cm wide) for a full 180 degree turn to frag the ones shooting behind me. To do that I have to flick the mouse at a very high speed, and this is where most mice fail me. Even with my current mouse MSIE 3.0 clocked to 500hz polling rate, it suffers from heavy negative acceleration and the crosshair ending up pointing only a bit away from the original position. The Copperhead CANNOT perform this at all. When I do a full 180 duo-flick, it skips and looks at the sky or the ground, or doesnt move at all. The far worst is the MS laser 6000, that doesn't work at all with my sensitivity - it just looks at random directions and moves around like it's crazy when I move my mouse, piece of crap. While using the Razer Deathadder, no matter how fast I try to flick it at insane speeds, it goes EXACTLY where I want it to be. I'm most impressed. I have always disliked Razer mice as they are so commercial about 2000dpi, 1000hz polling rate, always-on engine, etc etc but ending up the mouse being useless crap to me. But the Deathadder proved me wrong. I won't give too much comments on the design, because design appeal is very subjective to one's perspective. The blue lights though, wasn't as bright as it is as in the commercial pics, but hey, it's Razer! So much for the pros, here's the con: It still feels very delicate to me! I don't really dare to use it as freely as the mice I own because it feels like the rubber coating is soooo delicate...... Or maybe it's because it's my friend's unit, not mine. Lol. Conclusion: I would recommend anyone who has used the MSIE 3.0 mouse before and liked the shape, and looking for a new mouse, GET THIS MOUSE. It's a steal at RM195. I really liked the MSIE 3.0, but the old engine as proved to be inferior when compared against the Deathadder. The egronomics are perfect, though. Best Razer mice award from me so far Oh, and I won't bother to spend my time writing this review if Razer released another piece of rubbish. Thanks for reading - a lot of you guys need to know more about mice perfomance. Note: I hope my review doesn't lower the sales of the Coppearhead and other mice a lot. Sorry jy14/ngbh, plz don't kill me. This post has been edited by chiam_ace: Jan 21 2007, 01:20 AM |

yea, i know the Death adder is supposed to have a very good sensor.
also maybe the reason why the copperhead cant do those exact turns is cos the sensor signal is too strong? there have been complains that some ppl have to lift the mouse more than a few cm off the pad before there is no movement. while the Habu is supposed to be a fine-tuned Copperhead sensor for low sens, which i guess fixes the above problem. have to really try the Habu and see, tho im perfectly happy with my copperhead. anyway, i recently scrapped off all the rubber coating on the two buttons after getting irritated at it. after awhile, if you really use the mouse alot, you will notice the rubber slowly peeling off. i had this prob on my old diamondback, and also on my current copperhead which is why i decided to just scrape it all off. feels much better now btw, tho theres no resale value but im not selling anyway so the deathadder while it is good, just the design where the buttons and body are one and coated in the same rubber material is just not for me. and once my 2yr warranty for copperhead expires sometime oct this yr, i'm probably gonna put on the silver pro-tools shell. |

I have only used Microsoft Blue Mouse mouse so far.. It's the mouse which i think having the mouse comfortable grip among those mouse i owned.
Wait til it's available in the market and i am going to try it.. Singapore shopping complex place these mouse for you to actually try it with some FPS games, which various mousepad for you to choose from.. Then only i will decide i regretted buying krait actually without even try on it This post has been edited by Sky.Live: Jan 21 2007, 02:23 PM |

I'm a Krait user. I'm wondering how to install krait on pc without restarting? Izzit possible? I once tried to install it on pc's in cybercafe.
The driver installed succesfully but the krait seems not coorperate with the driver. Its just like u plug in the mouse without intalling driver (but i did) so i think might need a reboot. But u know most pc's on cybercafe will roll back to its default after restart. So it wont work either..any opinion? |

Thats y I introduced the Razer LANParty Pouch for your precious mouse. It's retail @RM 38.00, but I'll be negotiating for a lower price soon. Check it out at http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/358741/+100 and look for Post #117. It's posted by z3r0717 and I think his review should clearly helps you guys save the DeathAdder, CopperHead, DiamondBack, Krait and any other mouse that is precious to you. But I think the only disadvantage about it, is that you have to sort of like stuff the wire or wind it properly inside as it's size is just nice to fit the mouse. I'll reserve my comment about fitting the DeathAdder inside this LANParty Mouse Pouch coz I've not tested to put it inside yet. Will update this post soon. |

Assuming the rubber material on Death Adder is the same as Diamondback's then I can tell you that you don't have anything to worry about. I didn't really take good care of my Diamondback and it peeled a bit, but after ignoring it it just disappears |

IMO that Lanparty pouch does not save the deathadder or any mouse, and is also the reason why i dont use it even tho i have two of it, both gotten free from copperhead and diamondback. Will update this post soon. its just too damn cramp to stuff both mouse and cables in. its too bad some sellers came into the razer bulk late, or you would've been able to get the Lanpak. this is what i have been using for the last few yrs to transport my mouse for any competitions/lan etc and apparently is no longer produced. notice how much bigger it is, has a seperate place beside the mouse to store the cables. was actually designed to be big enough to also carry your driver CD around, but that is useless. PS. yea my mouse buttons are shiny cos i scrapped off all the rubber coating, got irritated and now somehow it feels much better why the top part harder to scrape off i'm guessing is cos my fingers never reached that part so its still nicely stuck to the surface underneath. i will be very interested to see how deathadder bodies look like in 6 months time, especially for those FPS users who prefer the palm style. Okay, sounds like some sound advise. I'll see how it goes with the rubber coating. Never used such a high end mouse before. I basically use the RM10-15 A4 ones without the scroll wheel |

wow, bold move by razer to venture into the realm of non-symmetrical mouse like the deathadder.

QUOTE(chiam_ace @ Jan 21 2007, 01:13 AM) i've tested the mouse for CSS as well(no, im just a casual CSS addict it can handle highspeed movements accurately without failing seems like copperheads couldnt do that however diamondback is possible though i prefer deathadder's feel-in-hand more than diamondback, i always press those side buttons accidentally edit: somehow i get to try out someone's barracuda as well for musics la, it was totally hopeless i guess for razer fans, its better for you to get another set of headphones or just get the shure IEMs, they are pretty darn good too This post has been edited by Beach_Boy: Jan 23 2007, 11:08 PM |

QUOTE(clayclws @ Jan 24 2007, 12:15 AM) the drivers in the cans are just not quite made for musicsduno la, i've been comparing it to my headphones at home not quite fair to barracuda la basically they squeeze 7.1 effect into the headphone, thats why its expensive you will get surround experience with that |

Those are the people who can probably tell sounds each hertz apart. And the audio equipment for them would cost easily rm1000 and above Well, to be fair, the Barracuda is made for gaming, which gives and advantage since its capable of producing directional sound within the cans. Although it costs rather high for something that would sound totally useless for music, it has its qualities for what its built for, gaming. |

But alot of gamers like listening to music while ingame. So that's a little confusing. Does the Barracuda really sound bad with music? |

Basically, yes, the Barracuda doesn't sound good for music. The same goes for SteelSound 5H and some other high end gaming headphones, I have tried them on, both from my teammates.
The positional audio on them is exceptional. Crystal clear - and that's what gaming needs. My personal opinion is that SteelSound 5H is a bit more accurate than Barracuda, but both are very accurate headphones so I might be wrong. Personally, I use a Sennheiser HD580 for my gaming usage. Why? Because besides of gaming, the main usage of my headphone is spent on listening to music (not on the comp of course). Music is awesome on the Senns and the positional audio is acceptable. For my teammates though they don't really listen to music through the headphones and another is deaf he doesnt really care how his music sounds through the SteelSound. FYI,
on head-fi the best gaming headphones to those fellers would be the Beyerdynamic DT770 and the Audio Technica A900 (both closed cans) due to their massive soundstage and sound quality. they actually kinda doubt the gaming brands for headphones. |
