Hi guys, a little advice here,

for all those wanting to do RMA, I'll suggest you to look for your seller and ask them if your problem can be RMA-ed or not. Then, after that they should be able to advice you from there. Usually technical problems within the mouse should be no prob to RMA but for outer body cases, quite hard to get it RMA.

I also like to take this opportunity to express my greatest gratitude to all my Razer clients and thank you for all your support. I'll continue to do my best ..

Thank you. notworthy.gif nod.gif rclxms.gif thumbup.gif rclxm9.gif

Dude, if you wanted the AC-1, instead of going to Singapore, I think you can request for special order of 1 unit to come in. Usually takes about 3-4 weeks.

I just got the reply from the supplier. They are considering whether to bring in the AC-1 or not. For those interested, please let me know, usually MOQ = 5 units, it'll be easier to back-order.

you guys should actually wait for the actual release of the product in Malaysia before believing on the pricing. But for those planning their budget, allocate around RM 200, coz it won't be more expensive than the Copperhead.

ezinger :: I'll add you into the waiting list. Anyone else wants the AC-1 can let me know. I'll update my thread once I get the pricing for it. nod.gif

As for the DeathAdder, yes it's in stock at supplier's place now. So, any1 wants it, I can order then COD or courier it to you. Review for it, mayb soon will be made available, but for local ones, I'm waiting for HWM, Max-IT and PC.com to do a review too.

As for those with diamondback probs, mind to elaborate ? Coz I'm using the Acid Green Diamondback and so far, after quite a number of kissing act with the floor, I find it still functioning like new. Not yet gone crazy. Compare it with my Logitech MX100/300 previously, dropped only less than 10 times, the thing starts to go crazy, the pointer can jump from 1 end of the screen to the other end. Cannot stand then bought the Diamondback, never regret at all. rclxm9.gif

I would like to know...

Do Death adder feels as warm as krait?
Do it have a bigger dimension then krait? krait only manage to cover 3/4 of my whole palm.
Which mousepad is said to be best to work best with it?

Using krait + func 1030 right now.
*
Well, the answer to your first question I'll leave it to the DeathAdder proud owners. I'm sure you'll have to wait for them to 'wake-up' from the hang-over after using the mouse. haha. Just joking. Advertisement oni. hehe

As for your other question, The suitable mousepad to be working with the Razer mouse would be of coz the Razer mousepad, like the eXactMat or Mantis. So, depending on the type of usage, each mat will cater to your different games.

But, just to inform you guys, the eXactMat is currently out of stock at supplier's place. Usually it'll take about 2 weeks for new stocks to come in, or mayb they might have ordered it earlier when they noticed the stock volume was low and it might arrive earlier than 2 weeks. Whichever it is, I'll keep you guys updated on it and once the stock arrives, any1 like to own 1 can just PM me to get, or mayb look out for it in LYP or other retail centers.

independent statement or review dosent just justify the barracuda [:

im a 6footer which definitely doesnt make me a midget(no offence) and it fits perfectly covering my ears. to my pov, philips audio is concentrated on music. to my limited knowledge, barracuda is the only gaming headphones with 4 audio jacks and has a HD-DAI input aka DVI connecter and uses more power than any other earphone. but i guess pillows and cushions matter to you more [:

p/s: iv got death adder. anyone wants a review? =P
*
I'm sure he's no joke about his height. Coz I've met him and he's real cool and really 6 feet man.

But I doubt the Razer's Barracuda have such poor performance or physical disadvantage. I would advice all those who r doubtful or interested in the Barracuda, please visit the upcoming PC Fair to test the size and quality of the Barracuda. I'll request the supplier to properly setup the earphone but I think it would not be connected to the AC-1 coz it might not make it to our shores so soon. After receiving some request for the AC-1, I'll put in some request for it's arrival to Malaysia and once it's in stock, as usual, I'll inform you guys.

If any1 else knows where else that we can test the Barracuda, kindly inform us or post some address would be helpful too.

It won't get dmged if you use it carefully, try avoid water or hand's sweat on it for a long time, avoid getting near to something hard or sharp objects and most importantly don't put it inside a bag with the whole wire and usb connector if you're going to a LAN match or gaming. The usb connector will definitely scratch it, that's my lesson for my mistake to my precious copperhead  sad.gif
*
Cool !! I totally agree here. Thats y I introduced the Razer LANParty Pouch for your precious mouse. It's retail @RM 38.00, but I'll be negotiating for a lower price soon. Check it out at http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/358741/+100 and look for Post #117. It's posted by z3r0717 and I think his review should clearly helps you guys save the DeathAdder, CopperHead, DiamondBack, Krait and any other mouse that is precious to you.

But I think the only disadvantage about it, is that you have to sort of like stuff the wire or wind it properly inside as it's size is just nice to fit the mouse. I'll reserve my comment about fitting the DeathAdder inside this LANParty Mouse Pouch coz I've not tested to put it inside yet. Will update this post soon.

Razer pads are Everglide OEMs.
*
I can confirm that. Razer mouse mats are made by Everglide, but Razer has an additional variety in the form of Razer Mantis Control, most for strategy game players, the Razer Mantis Speed more for Real-time games.

If you would like to have both these options, you can opt for the eXactMat, which is an aluminium pc of metal with the texture of both the speed and control on both sides of the aluminium piece. This way, you'll get both the features for 1 price.

Everglide also has an aluminium plate with 2 different surface, just like the eXactMat. It's called the Ricochet, and it's much cheaper than the Razer's version. But I'm not sure if the eXactMat was produced by Everglide or not.

thought cold boot is when the mouse fails to start up when the system boots.
this one his system locks up with the mouse plugged in.
you're talking about the everglide ricochet 2.52 right?
i used to use it, and it is definitely not from aluminium.
feels more like plexiglass or something similar.
*
Yah, i'm tokking about the ricochet 2.52. Hmm, the other day I saw a sample of it and when i knock the surface, it sounded like aluminium. So, it's not aluminium izzit ? Means its easily breakable. Hmmm no wonder the price is far cheaper than the eXactMat.

Currently they've only released the Nova blue color only. If you want other colors, then the DiamondBack and CopperHead is the only available choices for now.

Edit:

BTW, I just saw the online store for the Razer store, the DeathAdder has been sold out. Wow, I din know the craze for it was so big.

no one would go and bend it like mad.
dunno if you can still get the other colors, cos there used to be a white and red, apart from the black version.
*
Yeah, still got red and white color stock at my supplier's side. Want any of them ? haha

Well, I'll try to ask for some sample of it from the supplier and knock knock to see what material it's made of. haha

But for me, still the Razer's eXactMat looks cool.

it does looks odd for the Mako, but I can't wait to test's its sound system. Claimed to be THX certified or something like that. Price wise, I'll leave it to the supplier to let us know later. Should b near Barracuda's price , I guess.

Just need some instruction here...I am about to get my Razer Krait and Everglide DKT Gaming pad soon.Do i need to do anything when i get the mouse as in any way to test it, need to install any particular driver?or its just like normal plug and play mouse.Just plugging it into pc will do?
*
Usually, after buying the mouse, just use it in the plug and play mode to ensure it's working then install the bundled drivers. Then after that, play the games that you'll use it mainly for or just use the mouse like how u use it daily, then find any prob with it, ask you seller.

Thanks alot for the info here.I will definitely test it when it arrives...Anyway, what does the bundled software normally do?Would it still function nicely without installing any of the bundled software?

*
The software is to allow you to config the mouse further to suit your usage. It's better than Window's own option under the control Panel. I've not installed any software from Razer CD for my DiamondBack but it's very safe and easy to use without the need of the bundled software. I guess mayb bcoz I've yet to use it for games like CS. (Coz my GC not powerful enuf to enjoy a smooth game , hehe)

So, mayb you won't need to install the software unless u find any prob with it.

In my opinion, currently besides Habu and DeathAdder, my preference is: DiamondBack > CopperHead > V 1.6 > Krait. I've seen the DeathAdder but not yet try it. Waiting for my Tarantula and GC 1st. haha. But, from all those who has reviewed their opinion on the DeathAdder, I have no doubt that it'll be the best rodent from Razer and I hope more to come with the laser technology. After all, laser could be the next generation's precise mouse for gaming, especially when we can afford the true HD like 30" Dell monitors with 7900GTX SLI. (2500 X 1600 resolution).

cept for one slight prob.
the Death Adder is not a laser sensor.
its using a 3rd Gen Infra Red sensor, essentially an upgraded Diamondback sensor.

come on, you're selling razer/everglide stuff, the least you could do is learn alittle more about the products.
*
oh, i meant to say that I was hoping for more new Laser-sensor mouse from Razer, didn't mean to refer the DeathAdder using the laser technology.

Coz, Laser sensors offers higher DPI, useful for bigger screens, but clearly, that will be for the future, not now. Currently, the Optical wans are good enuf.

I know I should learn more of my stuffs that I'm selling, I agree with you. That's y I'm alwiz looking out in this thread to learn more about the weakness and good features that you guys have encountered. I do feedback these stuffs to Razer. No prob dude, will continue to learn more from you guys and also anything else that I can find out from Razer side. icon_rolleyes.gif

I agree with the first statement notworthy.gif

hahahahaha.

It's actually useful for cable management, just kinda pricey for a heavy metal. But, since it's Razer, definitely meant to solve all gamers' woes. Will look neat and nice along with the Razer mices, Mantis/eXactMat and Tarantula. thumbup.gif
