repost in this thread as I'm not getting a response in the other thread :s

one question regarding gaming mouse here.
my laptop USB is screwed up. sometimes it detects USB device but most of the time now, it cannot detect devices connected to it.

so the question is.. if i buy a USB gaming mouse (Razer for example) and use a P/S2 converter to plug into the P/S2 hole, would it still be the same as using USB port to connect?

another question, is there any P/S2 gaming mouse available in the market?
