i prefer 932B . design looks nicer. Personally i don't like widescreen type.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TFT_LCD B-TNⅢ , samsung own TN panel. The overall best picutre/color quality of low end panel , compare with Chimei,Auo... This post has been edited by yangxi: Mar 2 2007, 11:38 PM |

SAMSUNG 971p
good: -Contrast and brightness improved provide amazing color -Touch sensitive power button is too cool -fell that pixel smaller than Samsung 932b , very sharp. disadvantage: -no OSD , control by software. -People will try to steal the monitor from you, it will happen ![]() |

Went to Servex few days ago to ask for Samsung 740BF and 940BF. The staff there said BOTH models are no longer sold because of obsolesence. I wonder how true this is, since the person also said there was no new models to replace them.
Anyone have info on this? |

QUOTE(lAh0S @ Dec 10 2006, 07:00 PM) LOL... This is the kinda thinking and attitude that in the end makes the Malaysian consumer suffers. The "tidak apa" attitude.Thats why lar... ppl think too highly of their money... A full tank of petrol also RM70-80 liao... whats value in RM1000 nowadays... You wanna complaint 3 dead pixels for a RM1.3k LCD, which suddenly pop out of nowhere after a few hundred hours of usage? That's why in US, Europe and other countries, warranties cover are much better and refund policies are the norm rather than exception unlike here. You won't see refund policies except a few at Tesco and Carrefour. Whether it's RM1K or RM100, it's our hard earned cash and it is our right to get our money worth. An indian colleague(from India, not our local indians), once told me in india, consumers can sue the shit out of everything. He said there's one case someone sue a soap company because the bar of soap does not met the specifiction (weight, dimension etc) as printed. He won. Then there was a guy in US who has a blog who says he simply returns to K-Mart/Wall Mart (somewhere, can't remember) for stuff he bought elsewhere and still get money back!!! Now, that's consumer power!!! So next time, think carefully about the money spent. Use your right as consumers or in the end, it's we who lose out to big companies who walk all over us because we are so easily sucumb to their policies. Added on March 8, 2007, 11:42 am QUOTE(redken @ Mar 3 2007, 08:41 PM) Both also korean brands. Not so reputable for their quality. Japanese brands are far better but also more expensive. Japanese not that good anymore. Samsung and LG (which partnered with Philips, i think) are the leaders in terms of LCDs panel in the world already. This post has been edited by Matrix: Mar 8 2007, 11:42 AM |

Hi guys! Anyone knows how to remove tough smudge or stains on the lcd? I'm using normal cloth for my eyeglass but it's still there.
Are there any liquids or cleansers designed for lcds? This post has been edited by amacharu: Mar 8 2007, 05:34 PM |
